Hello Aspirant,
IIT BHU is ranked 11 by NIRF in the year 2019,Mechanical Department came into existence in the year 1919.In the year of 2019 100% students in the branch of Mechanical Engineering took place with highest placement of around 24 LPA and about 7 LPA on an average.Which is really good considering the said branch. However the sad part is placement in core of the said branch is not good and most of the M.E get placed in IT.But this ratio is different in IITs.Overall Mechanical Engineering is good at IIT BHU.Some core companies visiting are Maruti Suzuki,TATA etc. You can check things in details with the help of the link mentioned below-
Hope this will help you solve your issue
Regards!
hey aspirant!
Before choosing between colleges you have to choose between courses i.e either you want to pursue bsc or ba because that what matters find your interest in field first. if you are from science background you should pursue bsc because it have great carrier scope. or you face difficulties in science than opt for ba is not a bad idea atlast you follow your interest that matters. Both fields are good you can opt anyone.
if you want me to choose between colleges than Allahabad university and bhu both offered average placements even you have to apply through offcampus for getting a job placement. It also matters that you want to pursue bsc in which stream either biology, computer science or in what because getting a placement in computer science is quite easy as compared to other streams. choose wisely follow your interest that's what i say at last.
hope it helps!
good luck!
Hi there,
As per your query, YES , you can expect a seat for BAMS in BHU .
The last year cut off cut off for SC category for BAMS was within 300. But the trends keep changing every year due to various factors like the seat matrix, the highest marks in NEET for that particular year, the rank and cut off changes accordingly.
You can check here our college predictor for finding out the complete analysis and suitable college for you within your marks for NEET 2020: https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer
Hope this helps...
Good Luck !!
Hello Aspirant,
Both Colleges are Good, It is quite difficult to say which one is the best. But I'll tell you which one is best. According to me BHU BSC Geology (honours) is best than KNIT Electrical. Because It's infrastructure is good, Atmosphere is also well, teachers are well experienced. It's cutoff and placement is also good. Some of the companies such as ONGC, Vedanta and CIL visit for the department of geology, BHU for campus placements. And in KNIT electrical all things are good but placements are quite good. In KNIT Electrical there are few students placed or few company will reached .
So BHU BSC Geology (honours) is better than KNIT Electrical.
I hope this information would be helpful for you.
All the best for your bright future ahead!!
Dear Aspirants ,
I would like to say that both of the courses are opposite to each others such as Chemistry deals with the study of matter and the changes it undergoes. This science is also addressed by physics but takes a more general and fundamental approach. BSc Chemistry Course introduces various concepts of: Atoms. Substances. Molecules. Crystals. Other aggregates matter in the B.Sc chemistry subjects. It addresses the issue of generating, trained and skilled professionals specifically in the field of Chemistry. Where Electrical Engineering is deals with Electrical and Electronics Engineering is an integrated branch of engineering. This course deals with the technological aspects of electricity, especially the design and application of circuitry and electronic equipment. It also includes the concept of power generation and distribution, communication and machine control.
So i concludes that you should go though your skills and your interest matching field such as if you are interested in electrical and technology then you must go through engineering but if you re interested in chemical ,research ,production pharma then you must go through the chemistry so here your interested and skills is much more important .So you should go accordingly .
Hope it will helpful
thanks

Dear Candidate,
These are very tricky times. It may happen or may not happen. A bit of luck may play it's part here. If someone doesn't take admission in BSc at BHU, your chances increase & vice versa if people accept it, your chances decrease. We can only but wait for time to pass. Be optimistic & try having a plan B if this doesn't materialise. I hope you will get your desired college.
Best wishes to you. Good Luck.
Hello
I guess your question is rather incomplete as you have not mentioned the course that you got in KNIT.
However as far as Maths at BHU is concerned, it is undoubtedly one of the top notch universities of India and getting a seat in Maths UG there is great. The faculty there is excellent and I would suggest you to go for that option.
Hey there!
The answer to your question highly depends on what your interests are because both the choices are nothing alike. So, decide in which would you want a career and choose according. Personally, I'd recommend B.Sc Mathematics (Hons.) from BHU because of it's merits but ofcourse the decision is yours to make.
All the best.
Honestly, I had a good time being a part of this college. Since I used to live in the campus Girls' Hostel, it became even more memorable. Hostel was quite inexpensive and very spacious. Usually, there were a lot of College Festivals that took place in IIT BHU and trust me it was one of the best experiences. Late-night walks, the beautiful environment and the calmness of the campus often felt like heaven. Ghats of Varanasi were cherry on the top.
The college has a very good infrastructure but hostel facilities are not excellent but can be considered fine 1. Classroom facilities are good and improving and digitalised 2. Very good library facilities both in central library and in institute library 3. Wifi is available but issues occur in the wifi 4. Hostel food not so hygienic but comparatively fine
The BHU campus is exquisite, its a mix of tradition and modernity, spreading across 1300 acres. The campus has Sayaji Rao Gaekwad central library, where students can find enormous numberof books and digital resources as it is equipped with cyber section as well. For those interested in sports, it has an indoor gymansium, swimming pool and large playgrounds. It has many seminar halls, auditoriums and a amphitheatre for all sorts of events. It has students health centre and hospitals to help students 24 x 7. there are cafterias and atms for the convenience and the campus also give the wifi facility.
