Hi!
I hope you are doing well!!
Definitely, u can apply and get admitted to BHU with a gap and there is no need to go for the documentation for the drop.
BHU admission procedures are very good ,even I am the dropper ,and there is no any discrimination for this. Everyone gets an equal opportunity to get admitted to BHU irrespective of his/her droppage years.
In fact BHU is the best university to go for the study of your favorite subject at any point of your life time. This makes the BHU unique .Even art and law faculty witnesses a large no of such cases every year.
Thanks!

Yes ofcourse..You said you've completed whole syllabus, that's great. But make sure you're clear with the concept and not just remember the theory. And yes previous years' questions are important. That will help in time management as well as solving questions. Keep revising and practicing. Good luck !
Hi
There's no percentile in jee advanced. There's only rank.
This is a bit difficult to predict the rank required in to get a seat as cut off keeps changing every year depending upon various factors like
----------) number of students that appeared in the jee advanced exam,
----------) kind of marks obtained by them ,
----------) toughness level of the examination ,
----------) number of seats available for the branch you want etc.
But yes,
When we go through previous year trend then ,
In round 6 of josaa counselling, 2020 , 5700 rank in jee advanced for general category closing rank for gender neutral in IIT bhu for mechanical engineering
You can check the same at
https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx
So, for mechanical in iit bhu, you need to get at least around 5700 rank in jee advanced.

Hey Indra!

Hope this helps, All the best!
Honestly, I had a good time being a part of this college. Since I used to live in the campus Girls' Hostel, it became even more memorable. Hostel was quite inexpensive and very spacious. Usually, there were a lot of College Festivals that took place in IIT BHU and trust me it was one of the best experiences. Late-night walks, the beautiful environment and the calmness of the campus often felt like heaven. Ghats of Varanasi were cherry on the top.
The college has a very good infrastructure but hostel facilities are not excellent but can be considered fine 1. Classroom facilities are good and improving and digitalised 2. Very good library facilities both in central library and in institute library 3. Wifi is available but issues occur in the wifi 4. Hostel food not so hygienic but comparatively fine
The BHU campus is exquisite, its a mix of tradition and modernity, spreading across 1300 acres. The campus has Sayaji Rao Gaekwad central library, where students can find enormous numberof books and digital resources as it is equipped with cyber section as well. For those interested in sports, it has an indoor gymansium, swimming pool and large playgrounds. It has many seminar halls, auditoriums and a amphitheatre for all sorts of events. It has students health centre and hospitals to help students 24 x 7. there are cafterias and atms for the convenience and the campus also give the wifi facility.
