Campus Placements for the session Batch 2022 saw some big names such as Microsoft, Amazon, IBM, Hewlett Packard, SAP Labs, Samsung, L&T, Arcesium, Wipro, Flipkart recruiting engineering students from Chandigarh University. A record number of 3750 engineering students were selected during the campus placements in which more than 240 multinational companies participated. In total there was a jump of 30% in number of total companies visiting the CU campus for campus placements of engineering students while there was jump of 70% in the number of core branch companies which selected the fresh talent.
Moreover the total number of offers made to the engineering students also saw a rise of 60% in comparison to last year. Of the total 240 Engineering sector companies, more than 400+ MNC’s offered pay-package of more than 5 LPA while number of companies offering package of more than 10 LPA touched 100+ this year. On the merits of their hard work and potential, the brilliant students of Chandigarh University have set a new benchmark by securing an international package of Rs. 1.7 CR and a national package of Rs. 52.11 LPA.

Hi Gunjan. the fees for Btech in CU is 6.53 lakhs and for LPU, the fee is 7.56 lakhs. The maximum salary offered in the placement of CU is 31 lakhs and Amazon, Asian Paints, IBM, Dell, Deloitte, Google, Godrej, Flipkart, HP, LT, Samsung are some of the companies that recruit students from CU. while Amazon, EY, Godrej, Hitachi, Nestle, Pepsi, Microsoft, IBM are some of the companies that offers placement in LPU.
In my opinion, CU will give you a better ROI.

Chandigarh University is better then other colleges because Chandigarh University is best known for placement.There
are 180+ ties with international universities as well with campus
placements there has been tremendous response from corporate
world with number of companies visiting CU campus for recruitments.top companies like Google, Microsoft also visit the campus.so, i think that Chandigarh University is better for placement than others.

LPU for sure,, Bt chandigarh university is also good.
Both the colleges are good but if you have to choose one you can go for LPU as it has better ratings overall.

According to your % you can get admission in some othere better college also.
And everything depends upon which course you want to join.
If youre joining the college for engineering then its good for CSE but also CSE has a lot of crowd here and youll have to study really hard in order to remain in contest.

College Infrastructure
I am from the newest campus of CHRIST (Deemed to be University), i.e. the Yeshwanthpur Campus. And since it is a new campus we do have some things that are yet to be administered in our campus, but the existing facilities are awesome. We have two bloomberg terminals in our campus, two libraries, 2 seminar halls (each one can accommodate around 200 people), a mini auditorium (accommodates around 500 people) and the grand auditorium that has a seating capacity of 3000 people, making it the largest auditorium in all of the campuses. We have abundant parking space in the university campus, we have a really beautiful turf. And the campus has zero tolerance for ragging. I was a hosteller in my first year, and now that I have exited the hostel, I realized what a luxury it was. We had clean rooms, access to fresh water to drink, 24/7 warm water and power backup, a vending machine and then a recreational area in each floor, we had laundry services exclusively for the hostellers. It was guarded 24/7 and yes, the rules were strict, but you had the flexibility to go out after informing the warden. The only drawback was that it did not include food.

Christ University has multiple campuses for different programs, and each one is organized and well maintained. The MBA block is fully equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi, dedicated study spaces, modern classrooms, lecture halls, and advanced computer labs.
Decent College, but overhyped.

College Infrastructure
My college has a good infrastructure,also has good facilities and well equipped labs and excellent staffs. We have great opportunities to learn be it academics or co-curricular activitie. They also maintain clean outdoor as well as indoor spaces.
