I would say,Lovely professional University is the best engineering college in Punjab for CSE. , Number of admissions in CSE department have been increased rapidly and has become one of the popular courses among engineering aspirants. It will actually be unfair to CU if the comparisons are straightaway made with the leader of education. The sheer scale of operations, technical and academic prowess, placements and curriculum development is at a different level altogether at LPU. Cu is not doing bad, but realistically if the comparisons are to be made, maybe after next 15 to 20 years it will definitely come to the present level of LPU.

CSE being a highly dynamic field needs the curriculum up gradations almost continuously, LPU is only one of the few private universities which has recognized this and developed the process of continuous feedback and consultations with industry to upgrade the syllabi in real time !
