IIFM Bhopal Facilities

Indian Institute of Forest Management (IIFM), Bhopal has upgraded facilities to provide students with a conducive environment for overall development. Indian Institute of Forest Management Bhopal facilities include a computer centre that houses the latest hardware and software to meet the computational needs of the students. In addition to this, the library at IIFM Bhopal has a collection of reading materials such as newspapers, magazines, and foreign journals including both print and digital versions.

IIFM has three hostel blocks having 110 fully furnished rooms available for accommodating boys and girls separately. IIFM Bhopal hostels are connected to an internet facility through LAN and Wi-Fi. Some other IIFM Bhopal campus facilities are sports facilities, IT infrastructure, cafeteria, computer centre, guest room, mess and canteen, bank and ATM and many others.

Library
Indian Institute of Forest Management Bhopal has a library with a vast collection of knowledge resources and information services. IIFM Bhopal library has both print and digital holdings. The library has newspapers, magazines, foreign journals, online full-text journals, several databases etc. IIFM Bhopal library holds a collection of reading material covering the following areas: forestry, climate change, environment, management and allied subjects. IIFM Bhopal library subscribed to online databases, namely ScienceDirect- environmental science and, business, management and accounting}, EBSCO – business source elite and environment complete}, EBSCO–eBook business collection, J-Gate, Emerald Marketing e-journals collection, prowess and Indiastat database for facilitating usage through online access of information.
Sports
Indian Institute of Forest Management Bhopal offers various sports facilities to its students.IIFM Bhopal offers facilities for indoor and outdoor sports like table tennis, carrom, football etc. There are various sports events that are being organised at IIFM Bhopal. Every year, IIFM Bhopal participates in the All India Forest Sports and Games Meet organised by the Ministry of Environment and Forests, Government of India.
I.T Infrastructure
Indian Institute of Forest Management Bhopal computer centre has the latest hardware and software that meets the computational requirements of the students. Students are provided with 24 hours computing facilities. IIFM Bhopal computer centre has various desktops connected with local area networks commonly known as LAN. The centre has a geographic information system (GIS) and offers image processing facilities.
Cafeteria
The student mess committee runs the mess on a cooperative basis. IIFM Bhopal mess has the capacity to serve 300 people at a time.
Guest Room/Waiting Room
The hostel complex of the Indian Institute of Forest Management Bhopal has three air-conditioned rooms for students’ parents who come to visit them at the campus.
Boys Hostel
Four hostel blocks having one hundred and thirty fully furnished rooms are available for accommodating boys and
girls separately. The hostel rooms are connected with internet facility through LAN and Wi-Fi.
Girls Hostel
Four hostel blocks having one hundred and thirty fully furnished rooms are available for accommodating boys and
girls separately. The hostel rooms are connected with internet facility through LAN and Wi-Fi.

College Infrastructure

The college infrastructure is exceptional, with modern, well-maintained facilities, state-of-the-art technology, and top-notch sports facilities. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled, with a vast library and excellent classrooms. Overall, the infrastructure is outstanding, providing an ideal learning environment.

College Infrastructure

Architecture by Charles Correa. Modern Infrastructure with proper Facilities and Equipment. Classrooms are Air Conditioned with Comfortable Furniture and smart Classroom Model. Decent Library and Sports Area, Hostels are Well Ventilated and Receive adequate Sunlight. Mess is Hygienic and Spacious.

College Infrastructure

Infrastructure and building design of IIFM is considered to be a work of art. It has all the required facilities like smart classes, computer lab, auditorium, WiFi connectivity throughout the campus, etc., within an expansive green space of 230 acres. Swaruchi Mess, the student-run Mess, works tirelessly towards providing nutritious and hygienic food. IIFM has a brilliant collection of books in its library and regularly updates the same. Apart from all this, it also has a dedicated sports Centre
