NIT Bhopal Mech or IIIT Guwahati CSE? (CRL rank - 19k) Planning to do higher studies in either branches, with interest in aerospace engineering (more interested) / AI & ML. But scope of aerospace in India is less than that of CSE, therefore I can't decide whether I should take Mech or CSE.

So in the josaa counselling for 2020,I should see the opening and closing ranks of list released by josaa of 2019,or new list of opening-closing ranks will ne released for us, I have obc rank of 8300 and cse IIIT Guwahati obc-8279 according to josaa 2019,what are the chances I'll get the seat here?

Hello student you need to follow the new cut off list as admission is based on cut off released for 2020. Cut off vary every year on various factors like level of question in examination seats available and total nunumber of applicants in the entrance examination.

You question is incomplete you just said that you got 86.5 percentile but you just forgot to mention in what exam you got 86.5 percentile so, Inorder to get into IIT, Guwahati you will have to wualify JEE MAINS and you apply for counseling by filling IIIT Guwahat

We can compare both of these on the basis of the facility provided, infrastructure ,placement and their rating and ranking, so in terms of infrastructure thapar institute is on the top, in terms of placement again thapar institute is on the top and again the NAAC rating for thapar

College Infrastructure

This College have well furnished classrooms with ac facilities in labs. Have a clean and silent library. Big building with sports area. Hostel is there . This College is situated far from the city. Mess food is not so good of this college

College Infrastructure

Classroom desks are of great quality and well maintained and the campus is very clean. The food is also good.For students the college takes special classes ensuring that students co-curricular.we can say that it is good.

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure of the classrooms and department is very good. Modern classrooms and lecture halls equipped with projectors and quality seating are available. The whole academic building has central AC and proper ventilation . The library is a little small being a new institute but it is definitely going to improve. Hostel infrastructure is very good.
