A candidate must have passed the B.Pharm./ B.Tech with an expected score 60 percent marks. or an equivalent degree in Biochemical/ Biotechnology/ Chemical/ Food Engg./ OR M.Sc. degree in Biochemistry/ Bio-Technology/ Microbiology or in Chemistry with specialization in Biochemistry or Physical Chemistry from any recognized university.

Admission to Two-Year M.Tech. Programmes is made on the basis of GATE Score. In addition, there is provision of admitting sponsored candidates from academic institutions, industries and R&D organizations.
