hi,
see b,stat papers has two written papers, UGA and UGB. both of the paper score will be evaluated and a cutoff score will be decided by the examiners. however it depends on various facts like difficulty level of papers, students category, seat matrix, overall applicant for the test. since the interview will not conducts the cutoff score expected to be high than previous years. so it is not feasible to predict the exact score to secure admission in ISICAL at this stage.
I suggest to give your best and try to score less of negative marking.

You can obviously go for research by pursuing Doctorate degree in top universities like Banaras Hindu University, Delhi University, Jamia Milia Islamia or any other. There is no restriction as such.
So, you can certainly choose these top universities for pursuing research in your concerned subjects.
