The campus environment is generally calm and organised, giving it a serious academic feel rather than a lively college vibe. However, since IGNOU mainly follows a distance-learning model, most students do not regularly use the main campus. The real experience depends heavily on regional and study centres, which vary in quality. Some centres are well maintained with clean classrooms, computer facilities, and helpful staff, while others have limited infrastructure and fewer amenities. Campus life, hostels, and extracurricular activities are minimal compared to regular universities. IGNOU’s infrastructure is designed more for accessibility and scale than for student life.
