College infrastructure is not very good but average . In my case my college is shyam lal college that has very old college building and it is not well structured. Sports facilities are average here . Labs don't have latest equipments .
Academics of the college is average . We have classes on weekly basis . Teachers used to teach us only of 2 hours during the weekends . In my course we have to learn major part of the course with self study.
Placements are not good here . This college not give such facilities for students . Jobs of few students are done by there hard work after the college education . Most of the students of my course are in teaching profession.
Good
At my time colleges alloted to us are not in good condition but with average infrastructure . Many facilities are not provided to us as for regular college students. Library is average . Sports facilities are good.
Academics are good . There are very qualified teachers that teach us politely and clear our all doubts that we raise during the class timings . Books are good in library primesses . Modern developments are not updated at that time.
Placement are average but students used there knowledge to grab job with there own efforts . On college jobs are rare . Placement unit of University is average and rarely place any student to jobs in companies.
Yes
Nice
IGNOU provides distance learning so my Study centre was in Kanpur. All basic facilities provided by the IGNOU.like spacious classroom,a board for study.library is also available there but needs to improve.
Academic is good.examination scheme is very rigorous.very difficult to pass the examination.syallubus is updated.IGNOU course curriculum is good but needs to improve on industry exposure.Study centre faculty is knowledgeable.
IGNOU does not provides placement assistance.after graduation students need to search job himself. No campus recruitment drive facility provided by the IGNOU but after passing some students placed in good companies.
The infrastructure and the facilities available for our course . The facilities likes ,labs, classrooms, and the library, department offices & Wi-Fi, were available. the food quality of the mess of the hostel were so good. pure drinking water is available .
The teachers are highly qualified, helpful during the course .they are able to provide valuable content. they clear our doubt.it was relevant to have a course curriculum . The average pass percentage was 80% in the semester exams.
About 55% of students were got placed. The average packages offered were 4 LPA. the lowest package was 2.5 LPA, and the highest was 7 LPA. Top companies recruiters in this course. the roles offered are sales, finance analyst.
The infrastructure are not really good I personally didn't right it . They need to look after for the infrastructure and also be really creative so that the campus look like a real college not a govt office.
According to me academic are really good and it basically depend on how we going to take that opportunity to move forward. Faculty are helpful when it comes to study so overall it's a good option to study from distance learning.
The placement scale are not good as most of the companies and industries need experienced person or graduated from a well reputed college and also IGNOU doesn't share any placement related mail or opportunities for the students.
The study with distance learning are worthy and it's really good opportunity for the students to look seriously for there career also we can work and do other degree to enhance our degree resume and knowledge.
I don't feel that there is any campus life as it's a distance learning so no offences but there is no campus life as students are taking classes for granted and not interested in attending any seminars or class .
IGNOU offers distance learning.so,It provides study centre. My study centre was in Noida.here well maintained campus for students. They provides classroom, Seating arrangements and a small library for us.
IGNOU offers a flexible and accessible academic experience. The curriculum is well-structured and industry-relevant, with a focus on self-paced learning. The study materials and online resources are comprehensive and helpful.
IGNOU'S placement opportunities are limited.because university focuses more on distance education and less on campus recruitment. The placement cell provides support and guidance to the students for job search but direct recruitment facility is not available.
Since IGNOU is a distance learning university, students lack physical infrastructure like other universities. However, online study resources and study materials are present. And college infra is very common you have to visit their if give external exams
The course curriculum is excellent for main subjects but lacks practical exposure. Since IGNOU lays emphasis on self-learning, the students have to be highly self-disciplined in order to achieve success.
IGNOU does not offer direct placement, and hence students are forced to depend on their skills, networking, and job portals outside the university to find employment. During the COVID pandemic period, the absence of counseling and placement support made it even more difficult.
The fee structure is nominal, and hence IGNOU is an affordable option, but students need to put in effort to acquire practical skills by working on projects, internships, and online courses ans scholarships made easy to students
Since IGNOU is an open university, there is no campus life as such. But students can participate in online forums, discussion boards, and business conferences to establish relationships and here campus depends semester to semester because we had to visit to gave exams only
Is was a kind of distance learning so I cant tell much about my particular experience
Contact classes are conducted in different colleges that you select. Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has good infrastructural facilities at it's headquartered at New Delhi campus. he contact classes are usually held during the weekends. Apart from this, you might go to the regional center of IGNOU for any other interaction (e.g., loss of ID card, etc.)The study centres are generally running at a rented .
IGNOU has experienced faculties who take lectures as a counselor in each term of six months. The faculty members are good. They are quite qualified and knowledgeable. The course curriculum of IGNOU is good & well designed but has a big problem that it does not get updated on a regular interval. Apart from this, it could be during the project, if you have worked with a faculty that could guide you with your project in your chosen discipline.
Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) doesn't provide placements through campus recruitment because it's an open university. But the name and degree of IGNOU has much worth. Students can get a job through open campus placements and with the help of other employment services organisations. The roles of the candidates who were in the M.com program were mostly those who wanted to make it into a managerial role within their organization or in another organization of similar nature of the job that they were in. This course is primarily used as a career advancement one by most of the candidates.
My college is very well built and it has all the facilities and amenities which a student might need for their smooth study and completion of course or degree they are pursuing there. It have library, canteen, auditorium etc.
Indira gandhi national open university covers all degree or courses whether being certificate, bachelor or master degree. Teaching faculty is good having enough knowledge about thier expertise subject knowing how to deal with students and course.
I think iGNOU being distance learning organization provide less placement to student. It act as a degree provider to students coming to it. As ignou is well recognized university all over India, completing course from here carries good reputation with it.
Being distance learning organization college charges minimal amount of fees compared to other regular colleges. Students on job gets flexibility to pursue studies without any problem and time difficulty.
Students studying here does not meet regularly here mostly they meet on weekdays during classes. Campus life is not as good compared to regular colleges, students here communicate profesionally regarding study purpose.
Being and Open University it has present in all over India the main campus in Maidan Gar Delhi has a well stock library the university focuses on digitalisation and online support is given to students it is focused on distance learning and hence does not offer basic facilities like hostel canteen or sports
The syllabus for BA economics covers core concept like microeconomics macroeconomics Indian economic development and quantitative techniques the college focuses on self preparation digital resources for studying a provided to students
The universities has a well established placement cell that organisers job fairs for different courses in which students get access to opportunities in various sector such as banking public sector Research and analytics etc
The total is for program of Bachelor of Arts and economics ranges around 15000 for the entire 3 year course the course provides flexibility due to distance learning students can focus on other multiple courses the same time
There are no daily campus life as the college focuses on distant learning visits for practical sessions doubt clearing session and exams are held in the campus clubs and societies play a big part in the experience
