Indira Gandhi National Tribal University, located in the beautiful hills of Amarkantak, has a peaceful and green environment that makes the campus feel refreshing and close to nature. The infrastructure of the university is overall good. The classrooms are well-maintained and equipped with smart boards, which makes the learning experience better. The library is one of the best parts of the campus — it’s spacious, has a good collection of books, and offers Wi-Fi facilities for students. The campus itself is quite large and always kept clean, giving it a pleasant and organized look. However, there are still a few areas that need improvement. The departmental buildings currently don’t have Wi-Fi, which sometimes creates inconvenience for students. The boys’ hostel also lacks Wi-Fi and the food served there could be better in both quality and variety. Overall, IGNTU provides a calm and natural learning atmosphere with strong academic infrastructure, but better hostel and connectivity facilities would make the student experience much more comfortable.

The academic environment at Indira Gandhi National Tribal University, Amarkantak, is encouraging and student-focused. I am pursuing my BCA here, and my experience so far has been very positive. The faculty members are highly qualified, with most professors holding PhDs from reputed universities. They are not only knowledgeable but also motivating — especially for students who aim to build a career in fields like software development. Their constant guidance and encouragement help us stay focused on our goals. Classes are conducted regularly and on schedule, which ensures consistent learning throughout the semester. The syllabus is well-structured and updated with relevant topics that match current industry requirements. Examinations and internal assessments are conducted in a fair and transparent manner. While research and practical exposure could be further strengthened, the university actively informs students about workshops, seminars, and external opportunities to enhance their skills and participation. Overall, the academic experience at IGNTU creates a strong foundation for students to grow both academically and professionally.

The university maintains a dedicated Placement Cell that organises career counselling, soft‐skill workshops, and mock interviews to prepare students. However, when it comes to actual campus placements, the situation is still moderate. For undergraduate programs in recent years, placement percentages reported are in the ballpark of ~40-50%, with median salary figures around ₹2.2 LPA to ₹3 LPA in some streams. What this means: you cannot rely solely on the college to open high-end placements for you. Especially for your BCA aiming to become a software developer, you’ll still need to proactively build skills, do projects, and perhaps seek off‐campus/internship experiences. On the plus side, the infrastructural support and the placement cell’s training help give you a foundation—but the high salary big company pipeline appears somewhat limited at this stage.

Worst Feature: The hostel facilities, especially Wi-Fi and food quality, need improvement to match the rest of the campus standards.

The infrastructure of the university is well maintained and great educational environment. It comprises of all the facilities in it as like seperate and large classrooms, labs, hostels are also average. But yes there is not much options for food.

Persuing MBA here just because the fees is less than other central universities and the teaching staff is also supportive. But it lacks in placement opportunities, there is not much opportunities for placements.

Placement cell is not up to date and is not much active. None of the staff is willing or focusing for the placement of students. There is only the placement for some of the departments and just upto 2 LPA.

Infrastructure is good as this is a central university but is in outer area so lack means of transport. Hostel, library and all the necessary infrastructure is available and the environment is good and clam.

I am studying in college because it was near to my hometown, teachers are well qualified but they don't have time to teach students they give work to their scholar to take the class in behalf of them and are busy in their career.

Don't go their for placement, no placement you found in college if you have any other work or preparing for any other exam and profession than it is the best place as you got enough time to study and preparing for other jobs and get degree there and clear your exam or focus on your profession

No not all the facilities are available in my college there is lack of library space limited seats were there ,no hygienic food not a good canteen where we have good food .Yes but there is one thing I really like about my College is it's environment greenery ,clean campus attracts me alot there i found peace in the green trees the beautiful environment just lovely. We have smart boards in our college labs were good library ok ok hostels i don't like food it was worst it was just last option to fill our tummy nothing else wi fi passwords not all have only some have network issues alot . Living place was very nice but we need to clean our rooms no one cleans the rooms lack of water also some fan light's won't work food just worsttt hell

Academic good professors were very kind friendly in nature helping.They teaches us very nicely . We have smart boards in our class There is lift facility too in our department.which really helps us save our time and tiredness too On time we get the syallbus course were completed I am in Ba Sociology 2nd semester Quality of teaching is good

I wasn't knowing about the placement because in my department there is no placement i don't know about placement here as I am new in the college I dont know this how can I tell without knowing I can't judge

College campus as I explained it was just owsm no words because it was situated near Amarkantak hill area whole year monsoon feel greenery the weather climates just wow Many activities were there like state event's held here like Biharis fest, Rajasthani,. If we talk about the location it was in village named lalpur reaching here was very tough no transport facility to reach or to went home location was really worst necessary things we can't get here it was quit challenging

Improvement of food quality, library space Computers no.need to be increase transport facility and little bit activities programs need to be done nicely no one shows that much interest

College infrastructure is exceptional. The campus has dynamic triple floored library with books in all genre including academics, literature, self help etc. Water coolers are there in every department. Clean washrooms. A beautiful serene campus dipped in natures goodness.

Syallabus is updated and have some skill based and innovative subjects. Our university have some of the rare courses like Mueseology etc.. But execution can get professional regarding the curriculum.

Our university is a new one and have limited batch size. Placement is not that great but it is getting better everyear. Placement cell atleast in our department tries to offer internship from time to time

It is by far the most economical University. The cost of doing a B. Com is not more than 9,000 for 3 years that is y semesters. Also hostel is quite affordable.

I had an amazing campus life with great teachers and good bunch of friends. The campus is peaceful and safe. Though it is situated in outskirts.

Our university is one of the prestigious university. It has everything a person will look for. You can join the university of you are preparing for competitive exams. It is easy to balance college life and other studies. Additionally you will get immense support from your teachers and relevant resources in the library. Further students are cooperative and friendly.

My college infrastructure is preety good and well maintained with proper cleanliness, contains a good environment to study with all the facilities available. It has a seperate and large sized classrooms for each. It only lacks in wifi, as it doesn't works properly.

Academics are like not much good enough because the syllabus is not much, it's just like completing the graduation any how. No such events that make you skilled much. You have to work by yourself and push the faculty for your opportunities.

There is less numbers of placement offers or campus recruitments. There are only 15-20% of people who get placed with the average package of 2 LPA by working on their own and requesting the facilities for it.

University infrastructure kaafi bada hai aur hara bhara hai Amarkantak ek shaant jagah hai toh enviornment peaceful hai classroom aur academic building theek hain kuch naya bhi ban rha hai library bhi kaafi acchi hai padhne ke liye padhai ke resources mil jate hai

Academics me kuch teacher bahut achhe hai jo achhe padhate hai igntu me khash kr pharmacy department ka jada demand hai online class kabhi kabhi hoti hai jab jarurat hoti hai to online class liya jata hai syllabus complete na hone se online class lete hai

University placement scene is okay but not great course like MCA OR B Pharm have better chances, but for many other departments students have to work hard on there down to get job like learning skill doing internship or preparing for of campus placement

University ke paas kai tarah ke academic buildings, hostels, auditorium, library, sports complex, aur laboratories hain. Sabhi departments ke liye alag buildings hain jahan classrooms generally spacious aur ventilated hote hain. Computer labs aur science labs gradually upgrade ho rahe hain, lekin kuch labs mein modern equipment ki kami abhi bhi hai.

University me Classroom teaching ke alawa students ko projects, presentations, aur field work ke through practical exposure diya jaata hai. Kuch courses jaise B.Voc, MSc Anthropology, aur Social Work mein real-life field visits hoti hain jo academics ko aur bhi engaging banati hain. Yeh cheeze students ke understanding aur experience ko enhance karti hain.

IGNTU ka placement cell workshops aur seminars ka ayojan karta hai jisse students industry ke liye tayar ho sakein. Resume building, interview skills aur personality development par focus kiya jaata hai. Ye training programs students ke liye kaafi helpful hote hain. Agar koi student khud se internships ya jobs ke liye apply karta hai to university unko NOC ya support provide karti hai.
