Hi, JMI doesn't have it's own entrance exam for b tech, rather you have to appear for JEE Main 2019 and based on the scores the merit list is announced. The JEE Mains 2019 was held from 7th to 12th April.

No you don't have to qualify JEE MAINS. But you should hold the diploma in an engineering stream recognized by AICTE or a state board of technical education of 3-4 years of duration with at least 55% marks.

The cutoff marks for Muslim OBC is 133. And you have scored more than 55%(minimum required for eligibility) in 12th standards. So yes you do have a decent chance of seeking admission in JMI.
