Hi, JMI doesn't have it's own entrance exam for b tech, rather you have to appear for JEE Main 2019 and based on the scores the merit list is announced. The JEE Mains 2019 was held from 7th to 12th April.

Jamia Milia Islamia situated in New Delhi accepts admission the basis of marks scored in JEE mains and then you need to appear for counselling process.

If you are Muslim OBC, the cutoffs begin from around 13000 in the 1st round, and close at around 38000 in the 6th round. This data is according to the cutoffs released in 2018. There may be little variations for this year.

Reservation refers to the seats which cannot be given to other people which are not mentioned. If there is 100 seats, then 50% means that 50 seats will be reserved for candidates belonging to Muslims. There is seat matrix. In seat matrix, usually the reserved seats and open eats are shown. There are reservations for SC/ST, PwD, EWS.

Hi, the rank cut off list for 2019 will be out in the month of July. But according to last year's first cut off list, for Muslim OBC marks were as follows for the courses:

Civil- 153

Computer- 175

Electrical- 154

 Electrical and comm- 154

Mechanical- 169

And according to second list cut off marks were- 133

No you don't have to qualify JEE MAINS. But you should hold the diploma in an engineering stream recognized by AICTE or a state board of technical education of 3-4 years of duration with at least 55% marks.

The cutoff marks for Muslim OBC is 133. And you have scored more than 55%(minimum required for eligibility) in 12th standards. So yes you do have a decent chance of seeking admission in JMI.
