Yes, The JMI 2020 entrance exam pattern is such that candidates need to attempt 200 questions in 3 hours. The question paper will contain objective/multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and no subjective questions. Do keep in mind that there will be negative marking for every question answered wrongly.

JNU M.A (Geography) placement test has 4 units. Geomorphology, Climatology, Oceanography, and Biogeography are the principle points secured under Unit I. Unit II covers subjects like Human Geography, Regional Geography, and Physical Geography of India. Unit III chiefly includes inquiries on Cartography where as Unit IV spreads inquiries on Statistical Methods.

Test Pattern for JNU M.A (Geography) Entrance Exam

The composed test contains IV units. Kind of inquiries and the imprints granted to every one of these units are unique. There will be 100 inquiries for the test. Complete imprints assigned for the test is 100. Unit I contains numerous decision inquiries for 60 imprints. Unit II covers short answer type questions. Imprints distributed for the unit is 20. Inquiries in Unit III and IV will be requested 10 denotes each.

• Candidate must have secured at least 45 % with aggregate subjects in their bachelor degree.

For getting admission in JNU, for MA in science an entrance test is conducted by the University.
Admission is based on the rank in the Entrance exam conducted by the University.
For preparation, first go through the old question papers. The JNU website has old question papers from previous years.
The books that can help you is Gauba and Heywood.
