Hello Aspirant,

The lowest cut-off score in 2019 for any government colleges including KGMU and all others in U.P is 573 . So, for your own security you can try in any of the private colleges as their cut-off score is low and you have a respectable score for that.

I hope you are satisfied with this answer.

Hey,

With 8100 rank, it is difficult to get a seat in Delhi under 15% All India Quota. But you can get the following colleges under 15% All India Quota -

  • GMC Shahdol
  • Shri Bhausaheb Hire GMC Dhule
  • Raichur Institute of Medical Science
  • Gulbarga Institute of Medical Science
  • GMC Chandrapur
  • GMC Coochbehar
  • Assam Medical College
  • GMC Latur
  • GMC Diamond Harbour
  • GMC Gondia

Last year the cut off for King George Medical University Lucknow was an overall rank of 2839 for OBC category under 85% State Quota in Uttar Pradesh. So it is difficult for you the get a seat in KGMU. However, you have good chances of getting other prominent government medical colleges in Uttar Pradesh. So, you can go with Uttar Pradesh state counselling as well. To know more about Uttar Pradesh cut off, check here https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-up

You should probably go with KGMU that you got through State quota in 1st round within. As the college provides a better exposure with much better faculties. The college is much good be it in terms of ranking ,exposure, faculties or infrastructure.Though BHU is also good enough, but you should opt for KGMU

Yes,kgmu bond is applicable for the students selectef through AIQ in NEET UG.To get admission in MBBS/BDS at KGMU,the students need to score a minimum of 45% in PCB and English from CBSE or any of the recognisable board in Intermediate and needs to qualify the minimum cutoff in NEET UG

KGMU Lucknow has excellent Infrastructure, Faculty and Research Facilties, besides a great outlook and campus life. In case you dont get AIIMS Patna, Rishikesh or Bhubaneshwar, I believe you should prefer KGMU. However, if KGMU is in vicinity to your home, prefer that over any other Institute.
