PhD in Civil Engineering Admission:

The admission process includes the following steps:

1. PhD admissions occur bi-annually, typically in January and June, through a two-stage process: a written examination followed by an interview. 
2. Potential PhD candidates must respond to published advertisements by submitting completed application forms. These forms can be obtained directly from the university or downloaded from its website.
3. The entrance examination serves as a qualifying assessment for PhD program admission. The curriculum for this exam is accessible on the Lingaya’s Vidyapeeth website and is subject to periodic updates.
4. Candidates who have successfully passed national-level examinations like UGC/CSIR (JRF), SLET, GATE, GPAT, or hold an M.Phil. degree may be exempt from the written entrance test. However, all applicants, including those with exemptions, must participate in the interview process to be considered for admission.
5. Admissions are determined by a department-specific merit list, which ranks candidates based on their performance in both the entrance test and the interview/presentation. Due to faculty availability, the number of admitted PhD scholars is limited to a predetermined quota.
