The programme provides a greater understanding of the scientific research of nutrition, food science and technology and its related fields. This course has a multidisciplinary emphasis providing a broad base of knowledge and skills. The characteristic feature of this course is the provision of hands- on -practical training in various food industries and nutrition counseling cell in health care industry. This provides the student with an opportunity to interact with the community and participate in the development process as well as to face the challenges at global platform.

- Merit in MRNAT
- Marks in Qualifying Exam
A candidate must have passed with the 50% marks aggregate in Graduation from a recognized university with Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Home Science, Food Science/Technology, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Medicine, Dental Sciences, Sports Science, Biochemistry, Physiology, Microbiology, Agriculture and Life Sciences or equivalent examinations.
