Nagaland University Kohima is a Central University which was established in the state of Nagaland by an Act of Parliament by the Government of India in 1989. For nearly a decade and half Nagaland University had been functioning from Kohima as the interim Headquarters of the University. Nagaland University has been accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).
