Eligibility Criteria
The applicant must have a Bachelor Degree in Engineering/Technology/Architecture in an appropriate discipline or a Master Degree in appropriate discipline with CGPI of 6.5 on a 10-point scale (or equivalent) or 60% marks in case of Open/OBC candidates in qualifying degree. Whereas in case of SC/ST candidates a CGPI of 6.0 on a 10-Point scale (or equivalent) or 55% marks in qualifying degree will be applicable.
Admission Details
Admissions to M.Tech programme are made through Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE).

My experience at NIT in MTech is going amazing till now
College Infrastructure
I like the infrastructure of NIT Hamirpur . It is build in a very big space and have acres of land with all the sports facilities and hostel with mess facility included in it only . Lift facilities is provided in hostels

Nit hamirpur's college infrastructure is amazing , hostels , department and road facilties are very good and improved on very 6 months . There are 3 libraries for the students , mess food is really hygienic and variety of food is provided
