The Electrical Engineering Department was established in 1977 along with the establishment of Institute. It has been one of the best departments in terms of infrastructural facilities and faculties. It has got many well equipped labs with modern equipment ranging from the highly equipped Machine Lab to the latest PCs in the Computer Labs. It also has a well equipped CAD laboratory.

Eligibility Criteria
Must have passed class XII (or equivalent) Board examination with a minimum of five subjects and secured at least 75% aggregate marks. The aggregate marks for SC, ST and PwD candidates should be at least 65%.
Admission Details
Admissions to the first semester of all Undergraduate courses are made on the basis of seats allocated by Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) from the list of candidates selected by all India JEE (Main). Besides, a specified number of foreign nationals/NRIs selected under the policy laid down by Govt. of India, are admitted directly to the 1st year of the courses.

I love the campus life more

We have proper Wi-Fi, labs are up to the mark and need improvement. Classroom are good and have proper functional A. C. We have regular labs going on. Library is quite good and books are there too. Quality of food has been improved. There are no medical facilities available in hostel you need to visit to the outer medical stores or hospital. There are not enough grounds for sports.

College Infrastructure
My college is having a very beautiful campus, it just looks very amazing. The hostel facilities when I was in the college were ok. Else the wifi is all over in the campus. Also their are labs in almost all the sems for electrical branch students.
