There is a lot of difference between the previous year's cut off and ranking of the two NLUs. The cut off for WBNUJ, Kolkata was a rank of 213

Your Chances for admission in any NLUs through the subsequent allotment lists are not much. But you do have fair chances in vacancies, if any. You cannot br sure about arising of vacancies as it varies every year, but you can try for NLUS is guwahati, Tiruchirappalli, Vizag.

Here is a list of all NLUs and their respective cut offs in 2017 for the general category, considering this and your rank you don't seem to have much chances. You do have fair chance through in lower tier NLUs through Vacancies, if any.

A lot will depend on your State and Category. Can you give me these info.? Only a candidates from Maharashtra state that too from ST category, stands a chance of getting a seat in MNLU Nagpur with 38034 Rank. I hope it helps!

The cut off depends upon factors like number of candidates, difficulty level of exam, availability of seats. The expected cut off for OBC category is around 1000.

NLUO is a good place to study
College Infrastructure
National Law University, Odisha, Cuttack (NLUO) provides good infrastructure, with proper classrooms/lecture halls, good library equipped with air conditioning, clean campus, ample food stalls for students, sports centres like basketball court, tennis court, badminton court and football field. The hostel rooms are big enough and cleaning crew is available from 7:00 A.M - 4:00 P.M. The hostels, lecture halls, library and mess are all equipped with WiFi, lecture halls have white boards and projector. Mess food is edible. Overall a good experience and good living environment.

College Infrastructure
It has greatly developed as it currently houses one of the largest law library in the country. Adequate facilities with respect to sports and recreation area also made available to students along with good hygienic food
Overall a good college.

College Infrastructure
College infrastructure is improving slowly. The library is finally functional. The hostels are spacious, you get single rooms which is a great thing. Overall the college is pretty but needs a lot of development.
