A substantial number of vehicles have been granted by the University to the College because it is the university's major institute and where several UG and PG programmes are offered. As part of each course's practical component, students from all degree programmes are taken on field trips to industries and Central Institutes, and buses are provided to the appropriate teachers based on the indent. There are five Hostels functioning under the College to provide boarding and lodging facilities for the students of the College. The following are the details of the Hostels. Hostel-B - U. G. Students - 300 single rooms Hostel-D - UG Students - 110 rooms PG Hostel - M. Sc (Ag), M. Sc. (Hort) Students - 110 rooms international MABM, M. Sc. (Biotech) - 45 rooms Students Hostel and other foreign students All the Hostels are well furnished with big Dining Hall, Reading room, TV room, and each room is well furnished with required furniture for comfortable stay of students. One of the unique features is that all the Hostels have been provided with Solar Water heating systems to supply hot water to the borders as and when needed. Besides, steam cooking units were also provided to all the Hostels for cooking good quality food.
