My college has every facility required for learning the practical aspects of the things. The college professors are also very cool and skilled but are strict sometimes and never negotiate with the classes. College Crowd is very cool and friendly which makes the college experience a really fruitful. The hostels are above average and now the wifi facility has also improved very much after certain protests. The college is great if take it placement wise as there are more than 70% placements every year. The seniors are very nice and helpful. The best part as compared to other government colleges is the mess food.

Let's start with the basics. What should an engineering college produce? The answer might be Engineering Graduates. That means graduates who are actually interested in contributing to the field of engineering, let it be any branch. But I believe PEC produces performers more than engineers. The graduates from this college will be brilliant at handling the corporate life, but not be useful if there was a need of an innovation. And that I believe is because of the faculty that is there in the college. Everyone knows how things should function, but are waiting for someone or the other to take the first step. And in this wait, students tend to take the easiest way out and move further away from the branch of engineering. The co-curricular opportunities are brilliant at this college, be it sports, music, drams or any other field. But at the end of the day, we are not an art college but an engineering college.

It's one of the most prestigious colleges in the country and its reputation is thoroughly deserved. However, due to some reasons, it has started lagging behind than other colleges. Campus life here is simply amazing and worth living. You would always run into some fantastic individuals on the campus, who are simply a class above the rest. A lot of clubs and committees are there, so no disappointments for the extracurricular filed. Some of the teachers are also great here and very helpful. The major drawback is the infrastructure. It's not what it should be. Like every college, PEC also has some positives and negatives. But the positives here dwarfs the negatives. If you get in here, you won't be disappointed.

It was one of the toughest decision which to chooses. I choose PEC, not because of its name but because I have been to its Fest and I fell in love with it the moment I got there. I could have got IIT Ropar but PEC was more preferred. This college is a dreamland for engineers. The way everything is thought is amazing. The seniors are brilliant. The hostel is amazing. Though infrastructure is a bit old but is still better than many of the colleges.

Taking civil engineering in PEC is not worthy at all because the faculty is very strict and it's damn experienced, which is supposed to be good. PEC has a very good reputation among various NIT's nd it clearly beats many of them when it comes to Overall rankings all over India. I would suggest PEC be a very good place to come and develop yourselves.
