Academics
I am pursuing btech in electrical engineering due to my intrests in power systems and electrical machines. The quality of teaching is satisfactory, but the curriculum needs regular updation. There should be more practical sessions, industry oriented projects and exposure to real world applications would make students job-ready.
College Infra
Old buildings and labs need renovation and better instruments.
Upgrading these buildings better equipments will help students in getting more interested for their practical lab sessions. The newly constructed blocks are much more well maintained with neccesary amenities.
Campus Life
One of the best features is the wide range of students clubs and socities, technical socities and non techinal (music, drama,entrepreneurship, etc.). These organizations give students oppurtunities to develop practical skills, leadership qualities and confidence beyond classroom.
Placements
The placements oppurtunities are great, especially in IT and software roles compared to core electrical. Only few core companies visit the campus. Highest salary package is usually offered by tech companies.
Value For Money
We have to pay fee semester wise, which is around 94k for each semester. Curriculum needs to be updated to align with current industry scenario, greater emphasis on practical sessions will provide much better value for the fee students pay.

Academics
The faculty is good and the curriculum is up to date. Though some professors show a lack of interest and some subjects are meaningless in the sense of the degree we are opting for. Overall average academic status.
College Infra
Lots of greenery, and infrastructure is clean. But there are lacks in the infrastructure as there are not enough rooms/labs in order to accommodate all the students, which causes the students to wait longer for labs to be available, which is a reason for a waste of the student's time.
Campus Life
Campus life is good because of the clubs managed by the students. Students can join different clubs based on their interest. Other than that there is not much to do around the campus as the campus is not really that big.
Placements
Placements are good, what i've heard from my seniors. But a few years ago we got banned from big companies cause of some mismanagement in the placements which our seniors warned that it might affect us also.
Value For Money
The fee is cheap as its a government college and they don't charge extra for any other stuff. Average year costs around 2 lakh for a normal student. Some facilities are lacking which might make you think that you're not getting your money's worth.
