BE Computer Science and Engineering is a full-time four-year course offered by Panjab University, Chandigarh and Approved by AICTE

The department strongly believes that neither the industry nor the academics alone have the resources to adequately deal with the quest for innovative excellence in this field of computers, for global competitiveness. Hence the Institute-Industry interface programs enable the students to interact constantly with the industries. Equal importance is given to the classroom learning which is meant primarily for the theoretical or conceptual inputs of knowledge on a variety of projects.

The department has excellent computing facilities which include Pentium based computer systems, scanners, servers, multimedia kits, robotics lab, Indy Graphic workstation, etc.

Eligibility Criteria

Must have passed class XII (or equivalent) Board examination with a minimum of five subjects and secured at least 75% aggregate marks. The aggregate marks for SC, ST and PwD candidates should be at least 65%.

Admission Details

Admissions to the B.Tech. programmes are made once a year in July based on rank in JEE- (Main), conducted on an All India level by CBSE.

College Infrastructure

PEC boasts a well established architecture which is good for both academic and extra co-curricular activities .. Pec library, labs for all different 11 Btech Branches.. One football ground, basketball court, tennis court and volleyball court. Sports ground as well ..The living spaces are clean and tidy ...I am day scholar but can say hostels are pretty good. In classrooms we have Wifis, smartboards with projectors and whiteboards also...
