Worst Experience

Hostel staffs in more no.of students in one room. Had to carry water from ground to the second floor. Poor washroom in college as well as the hostel. No food court in college. No proper arrangement and responsibility during floods. Worst hostel rules. Some staff take revenge in practical if you give poor feedback about them. The way of teaching is quite good. Lab record and observation handwritten is a total waste of time. No recharge shop is available in the hostel. Students suffer more due to writing permission to go to the medical room rather than their sickness. No freshers day. No cultural. In my final year, I still don't know my classmate's names, becoz they don't allow boy and girl interaction.

1)We did not enjoy college life here.No boys after which I realized that i dont know the name of half of my classmates. 2)Regarding teaching, all were obsessed with marks rather than learning. We studied more from course material rather than books. The worst part was writing Record and observation.Practical was more like theory. 3)No industrial visits.Hostel life sucked. We had to carry 10 lt pf can from the ground floor to 2nd floor and much more. Bad experience.

Overall good atmosphere. The college provides all opportunities provided that you are ready to grab it. Management could be much better and efficient. Most of the staff is supportive except few. Placement is also good and most of the good companies visit college often. Only cons I see is its unnecessary rules. Although many of the rules are removed but their are still some frustrating rules and regulations.

A mixture of Fun and Bitter moments

The time you enter the gate of Sathyabama you will realize it as a big palace but it will turn nightmare after you realize the reality. The things really changed over the period of time and the college has been more liberal and student friendly. We were not allowed to use mobile phones even in the hostel but the scenario changed when we are now in the 4th year. The college boast for its amazing food which includes both veg and non-veg. The infrastructure is quite good with a very big campus and spacious classroom and many state of the art facility but mostly they are not used regularly. The college does provide industrial exposure and conduct a large scale of workshops but that too very less in number. The hostel life is as same as other colleges but they do provide weekend films in a big projector inside the hostel. The Placement cell of the college is very active and move with the trend but the quality of company coming to the campus and the intakes are very less. The professors are friendly and will teach you upto the point not more than that. The college has a good strength of students coming from different parts of India and even part-time students come on Saturdays and Sundays. The issue of girls and boys not talking to each other is no longer in the college and even the infrastructure for research is very nice in the college. The club activities in the college really help in all-round development. Overall the college is a medium level college for taking the undergraduate degree with lower fees.
