Seacom Skills University (SSU), Birbhum offers admissions to candidates at the diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels. SSU admissions are offered in 5 diploma, 34 UG, 32 PG, and 20 doctoral courses. The duration of the SSU programmes ranges from 1-6 years, depending upon the level of the course selected. SSU Birbhum admission to the courses at each level varies from course to course. For some courses, it is on the basis of merit while for others it is on the basis of the State Counseling System based on WBJEE/WBJELET/JEE (Main). Eligible candidates can apply for admission to their desired course at the Seacom Skills University (SSU), Birbhum.

SSU Birbhum Application Process 2024 

Candidates can apply in both online and offline modes. For Online mode, candidates are advised to follow the following steps:

• Visit the official website of the university.

• Register through the admission portal.

• Enter the required credentials and select the course you wish to apply for.

• Submit the self-attested documents along with the application form.

• Pay the required admission fee.

Offline Mode:

• Collect and fill up the application form. 

• Submit the application form along with the necessary documents. 

• Candidates must get their documents physically verified. 

• After successful verification process, candidates must make payment in the Accounts Department.

Admissions at the undergraduate level at Seacom Skills University are offered in 11 degrees including dual degree, B.Sc, BA.LLB, B.Pharm, BA (Hons), and others. The table below shows the UG seat intake and eligibility criteria.

SSU Birbhum BA (Hons)/B.Sc Admission process

• Eligible candidates must fill out the online application form for SSU BA (Hons) / SSU B.Sc admissions. 

• Candidates are required to fill in the necessary details in the application form.

• Upload scanned copies of a recent passport-size photograph and signature. 

• The SSU Birbhum University will release the merit list. 

• To secure the seat, candidates must get their documents verified and pay the admission fee via credit card/debit card. 

SSU Birbhum B. Tech Admission Process

• Eligible candidates must visit the official website of the university. 

• Click on the admission tab and fill up the application form. 

• On the basis of WBJEE/JEE(MAIN) rank, candidates are required to apply for the SSU Birbhum B.Tech course. 

• The university authority will verify the documents. 

• The admission team will call upon the candidate after successful verification of the candidate's documents and admissions will then be granted to students.

• Applicants have to visit the official website of the University. 

• Candidates must fill out the application form for their desired course and upload the documents as prescribed. 

• The admission cell at Seacom Skills University will verify the documents. 

• Once the documents are verified, the shortlisted candidates will be called by the authority to reserve their seats.

SSU Birbhum  Documents Required: 

• S.S.C/H.S.C./graduation marksheet 

• Valid  WBJEE /WBJELET/JEE (Main) scorecard

• School Leaving Certificate

• Domicile Certificate (if applicable).

• Birth Certificate

• Caste Certificate (if applicable).

• Caste Validity (if validity certificate is not issued Receipt) (if applicable ) 

• Non-Creamy Layer Certificate (if applicable )  

• Physically Handicapped students have to submit a Disability certificate (if applicable ) 

Note: Applicable reservation of 5% will be awarded to the reserved category students. Also, candidates must carry all the original documents mentioned above during the document verification process.
