If you want VIT then you have to sit for the VITEEE and the exams will be conducted from 28-31st May,2021. So its not likely that you will get the results before 2nd June,2021. Thus you have two ways-

• Not to take admission in SRM and solely prepare for VITEEE and try to score maximum score.
• Take admission in SRM and if you get a seat in VITEEE cancel your admission. You will get the money back after deductions. Although, If there are some freezing kind of option you can opt for it.

These are two ways you can think of.

As far as the three universities mentioned by you are considered ,I don't think there is any different between these three because they are almost equally renowned. Their fee structure is also same almost if we consider the total four year fees. If we consider the ROI factor ,these colleges are really bad at it. As if we are spending 18-20L in course of four years and if we land up in the jobs whose annual CTC are 3-5L per annum. Its of no use. As far as core branches are concerned like civil, electrical, mechanical only bulk hiring companies comes for placements. Rest is upto you which you want to choose.

Specialisation courses are much better than just normal courses as there you would get to learn what you want to focus on and study . Faculty wise software is very good, teachers are very cooperative and well experienced.

Although if Big data course is there in SRM University you should take up that as it is very demanding in the industry right now and even after four years data generation won't stop and data analysis would never be unemployed.

Rest is upon you what you feel like and have interest in.

SRM University was established in 2002. It's a private deemed university. It's UGC approved and NAAC A++ grade college. Here so many courses are offered and BTech in CSE is one of them.

Due to research college campus is very good and big and beautiful also. Faculties are well educated and very helpful. Classrooms are very large and full campus under CCTV camera. Here present high library. Canteen area also big. And free WiFi is available. Almost 95% students got placed here. And so many companies like Infosys, TCS,. Wipro etc are visited here for placement. To be honest with BTech in biotechnology from any private university is totally a waste. The main factor is the ROI factor . The 2.5 lakh that you have mentioned it's only the tuition fees you are taking. The total hostel+mess+tuition would come out to be somewhat around 4-4.5 L.

That means the total four year cost would be around 16-18L. And the placements that you will get would be majorly from bulk hiring companies like tcs,Infosys and any educational companies.

Instead of doing BTech , I would suggest you to do bsc+msc. That would not cost you much and your ROI factor will be good.

The seat allotment is on basis of rank secured in SRMJEEE, cut off rank, category, total number of candidates appeared, number of seats available and choice of branch. The cut off changes every year depending on various factors like total number of seats available, difficulty level of exam and total number of candidates appeared etc. The cut off for admission to Computer Science Engineering is expected to be in between 9500 - 10500  so you have good chances of getting seat but as said the cut off may vary depending on the above mentioned factors.
