Suppose if you have interest in programming languages and know little bit coding and all then you should go for computer science engineering as it also offers good placement in most of technical field . Further if you want to go for civil services like Indian engineering services then there is only one disadvantage that you can not give from cse branch . Else nowadays EEE also has so many good placement in most of the field . So you should go according to your interest .

The hostel fees are as follow:-

- Non ac with 3 seater:- 1.05 lakhs

- Non ac with 2 seater:- 1.17 lakhs

- Ac with 3 seater:- 2.16 lakhs

- Ac with 2 seater:- 2.16 lakhs

Well,it mostly depends on the course you are looking at. But in a overall concern, VI T AP is better in education but with infrastructure SRM AP is good. In VIT AP it is open notebook exam.VIT AP has multidisciplinary projects that is a plus point for the college.

According to the official website of srm education. One can apply into the university through three means

1) apply online and upload all your documents, and pay fee of INR 2,500

2) download the application form and send in filled in application form along with a demand draft of INR 2,500

3) you can also get the form directly from the University, however this is not recommended seeing the covid situation.

Documents which are required to be uploaded are :-

10th and 12th / Bachelor / Masters degree certificate along with marks sheet/transcript. Both front and back sides of the mark sheet are to be copied and sent in order to get additional information about the grade equivalence, passing requirements etc. Also migration certificate is needed to be uploaded.

I am final year CSE guy passing out this year.Here are details...

1. This year my friend ,in CSE,there were near 35o students in total.But,only 210-220 were allowed to sit.
So,where have 120-something students gone??

f you are having even one arrears,then,you are not eligible to participate in any company's placement procedure.Criteria goes like this,one should have 60%+ in 10th,12th and above 6 cgpa till 6th semester.

Further if you want to develope your engineering skill set then here are lots of people who can help you in the college. First of all it depends on your branch Interest which you want to opt for four year program and also depends on the campus in which you want to go.

SRM Institute of Science and Technology includes six campuses, three in Tamil Nadu — Kattankulathur, Ramapuram and Vadapalani, one in NCR Delhi, one in Sikkim and one in Amaravati. And there are about 50,000 students studying in SRM College. whereas VIT  has four campuses , located at Vellore, Chennai, AP-Amravati, and Bhopal. All four campuses provide a variety of undergraduate program

Kattankulathur Campus ,chennai is the main campus of SRM College. which is the best campus in term of infrastructure ,academics and placement.

VIT Vellor is the main Camous for VIT College ,which is again best campus in term of good infrastructure,academics ,and placement .

SRM Chennai being the main campus it have many drawbacks as compared to VIT chennai. so if you trying to choose CSE in SRM  Chennai my opinion is to go for VIT Chennai and opt CSE their because their academics and placement is very good ,and if you are not getting CSE in VIT Chennai then Opt ECE and secure a good CGPA and change your branch in consult with  authority.
