Hello student. Both the colleges are really good interms of course, infrastructure,  faculty and quality of education

Even in placements, both the colleges are pretty good.

With slighter difference in NIRF rankings vitee nirf rank is 13th, where as for srm it is 35th.

In terms of better knowledge sharing and campus life, vitee is preferred

Admission fee for Computer Science Engineering in SRM University is Rs. 2 lacs

Fot Vits, its is Rs. 2 lacs. For Bits, it is Rs. 50,000

For comedk, it is Rs. 2,60,000

For manipal, the admission fee is Rs. 2.96lakhs.

If you take direct admission through the entrance examinations in SRM VIT BITS COMEDK MANIPAL, admission fees will be near about the fees stated above. But if you go through management quota then the admission fees will be much higher. Good luck.

Candidates seeking admission into B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture programme must have passed the Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) conducted by any recognized board / University, with any one of the following subject group:

SRM University does not accept the score of JEE main examination. So, you're not able to get admission into this University based on your JEE Main percentile. SRM University conducts it's own examination named "SRMEEE" if you're able to excel in it you'll be able to get admission into this University.

VIT has extended the last date for filling the application forms until March 22nd, 2020. And now due to Coronavirus everything being shut down, it is likely that it might take a while before you receive any communication from them. We would suggest you to wait until March 31st because most Institutions will stay closed until March 31st. And offline applications do take time to be processed.

Both are good private engineering colleges. MET leads on some edge while SRM leads on other.

Both colleges have good clubs and exposure.

MET is quite more expensive than SRM. Also, SRM has the advantage of being in the metropolitan city of Chennai, making easier transportation by rail/road/air or even water. Also, tech companies regularly hold meetings and events here in Chennai.

Hello student, this score is pretty good for getting SRM college. But which branch you might be able to get is kind of unpredictable.

But competitive branches like computer science,  electronics and communication engineering, electrical and electronic engineering is quite a bit difficult.

So decide on which branch you are interested in and wait for the counseling .

Seats occupancy depends on number of students giving and attending the councelling

No, as of now they don't but AI is a good field and you can learn it through internships or online courses.
