It will be a little difficult to tell you the exact number of applicants but if your query is somewhere related to its closing rank,  more than 1.5 lakh candidates appeared for SRMJEEE (SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Exam) 2019. Out of them, only around 76,000 students were called for counseling. So, a considerable SRMJEEE rank would be atleast below 80,000.

Srm institue of science and technology is a deemed university in Chennai, tamil nadu. It has 4 campuses:  Kattankulathur, Ramapuram, Ramapuram ll Vadapalani, NCR campus. The main and the best campus is Kattankulathur near chennai.

Yes SRM UNIVERSITY is a good college for all the courses but there are many more colleges better than that still i am mentioning here 4 top branches of SRM
Electronics and communication engineering.

Civil Engineering.

Computer Science Engineering.

Electrical and electronics engineering.

Since SRM is a Private Institute, so the fees structure is quite high. The fees is Rs. 2,50,000 per year in B.Tech. And Rs. 10,10,000 in total 4 years.

B.Tech in SRM accepts SRMJEE.

For B.Arch, fees is Rs. 2,75,000 per year. And total of rs. 13,85,000 in total 4 years, including all fees.

For B.Arch. SRM accepts NATA score.

Hello student. Both the colleges are really good interms of course, infrastructure,  faculty and quality of education

Even in placements, both the colleges are pretty good.

With slighter difference in NIRF rankings vitee nirf rank is 13th, where as for srm it is 35th.

In terms of better knowledge sharing and campus life, vitee is preferred

Admission fee for Computer Science Engineering in SRM University is Rs. 2 lacs

Fot Vits, its is Rs. 2 lacs. For Bits, it is Rs. 50,000

For comedk, it is Rs. 2,60,000

For manipal, the admission fee is Rs. 2.96lakhs.

If you take direct admission through the entrance examinations in SRM VIT BITS COMEDK MANIPAL, admission fees will be near about the fees stated above. But if you go through management quota then the admission fees will be much higher. Good luck.
