Unfortunately, SRM UNIVERSITY does not consider any other entrance exam scores (JEE MAIN) other than your score in SRMJEEE.

SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination or SRMJEEE is conducted by SRM Institute of Science and Technology every year for admission to B.Tech programmes offered by the institute.

According to your rank in SRMJEEE you can get into CSE at Chennai campus easily.

But you've fewer chances of getting CSE at VIT Vellore campus based on your VITEEE rank.

i will suggest you to go for VIT amaravathi, see there is not difference betwen srm and vit but vits academic curriculum is handled differently. and after every semester students get chances to do different projects. and its location is really good compare to srm.

College Infrastructure

Infrastructure for the college is really good, we had separate buildings for each of the branches , and great laboratories for hands on experience. The university also offers grounds and sports arenas for extracurricular activities.

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure is a mix of scale and maintenance issues. While the campus is vast, the labs often have outdated hardware that struggles with resource-heavy AI/ML workloads. Classroom facilities like Wi-Fi are inconsistent, which is frustrating for a CS student. The sports facilities exist but are often overcrowded. While the campus looks good on paper, the day-to-day utility of the labs and the hygiene of common living spaces need significant improvement to match the "premier" branding.
