Last year last admitted rank in ECE was 27000, therefore considering your rank of 8976 you shall get admission in SRM main campus. Fees for the main campus is 2.5 lakh per annum.

According to your rank, you have decent chances for admission to mechanical Engineering branch in the main campus of SRM University.

For Computer Science Engineering branch, you have less chances for admission.

You have decent chances for admission to all the engineering branches except CSE branch in the main campus of SRM university.

Based on your preference of the branch, you can decide whether to attend the counselling or not.

Sorry to disappoint you but marks in +2 and your ranking is quite low so I don't think you'll get admission in arm for aerospace .

However there are many other private colleges where you can try .
