To get branch CSE branch in SRM Main Campus (Kattankulathur) your rank should be under 8000 and marks should be more than 250 out of 315.

there are many parameters that taken in consideration for getting seat in SRM and it also depends on the Campus which you focused as i know you are focsed on Chennai Campus but still Chennai Campus has 4 Branches it differs from one to one kindly refer the
