I got 33847 rank in srm entrance exam can I get seat in srmuniversity at main campus

Except CSE ,ECE ,IT and Mechanical u can get all other streams at main campus of srm as per 2016 closing ranks. May be this year you can get one of these streams.Let's hope for the best.
But I would advice you to prefer VADAPALANI campus ,Chennai if you are

Is it necessary for everyone to Pay transportation and hostel fees of SRM

Hi, There is no compulsion to pay for hostel fee and transportation if you are not availing the service.

I got 189 marks in SRM could i will be able to get admission in main branch Chennai

Chances are less for main campus but if you want you can try for other campuses of SRM with this score.

SRM OR Manipal...Which is better in terms of quality placements??

As both the campuses are good but comparatively I would suggest you to choose SRM over Manipal because it is little bit expensive. But you should consider your interest, choice and convenience before making any decision.

Chances are very less to get admission in top branches and in main campus but if you want you can try for other branches in other campuses.

College Infrastructure

The college infrastructure is very nice and as expected because as we know the SRM college is one of the top private colleges of India which shows it's value. The campus is very clean & green which makes it even better.

College Infrastructure

The college infrastructure I'll say its average because it's very far from Chennai city which is around 40-45 kms away. The buildings have very less lifts as per the total number of students they have.

The infrastructure of the college is outstanding. The WiFi is very fast in terms of speed and the campus area is very very aesthetic. The hospital inside the campus is very nice and consist of every possible thing that patient needs
