SRM Medical College Hospital and Research Centre admissions are given on the basis of entrance exam performance and merit of the last qualifying examination. For admission in MBBS programme candidates need to appear for NEET UG entrance exam. SRM MCHRC admission to MD, MS, DM, MCh courses is done on the basis of applicant score in the NEET PG entrance examination. The institute conducts entrance exam SRMJEEH exam for admission to BALSP, B.Optom and BSc programmes.

There are about 150 seats allotted for MBBS in this college and the fee can go upto 1 crore for a span of 66 months .

College is centrally air-conditioned. The library is present. So is Wi-Fi. The library has a good collection of medical books, both new and old editions. Journals are also plenty. In my opinion, both are good but you can prefer LMNIIT between two as LMNIIT has better coding environment which leads in CS and IT sector. Well SRM is better according to reputation and brand publicity. But LNMIT has a better academic atmosphere which is comparable to good NIT's. If you are serious regarding your studies than LNMIT is better. Placement wise SRM leads LNMIT due to it's brand name.

The student does not have the right to use a mobile phone in a college or school. Most engineering colleges ban usage of mobile phones inside their academic premises. It is a rule to be followed by all students in the campus. Use of cell phones within the campus is prohibited. No student is allowed to create disturbance in any manner whatsoever inside the examination hall during the examination sessions.

For any emergencies you can always use the college office phones with required permission.
