Hello aspirant, if you are satisfied with your seat in SRM ktr then it is possible to keep SRM as a backup and go for COMEDK exam as there is always a scope for improvement and you might get a better college and branch. Depending on the date before which you cancel admission a percentage of nominal fees is refunded. However the registration fees is not refunded which is around INR 10K. A date wise table will be provided such that before a certain date you get 100% refund after that 80% refund and so on. The details will be available at cancellation portal for SRM counselling.

Dear aspirant,
In 1st year syllabus of every branch and every student remains same. There is nothing different taught in non core and core branches. Yes maybe 1 or 2 subjects are different but main subjects are same.
Coming to main part of your question,
In maths - You only need to keep in your mind that is diffrential equations, matrices and calculus.
In Physics- Basics taught in 11th and 12th that is electromagnetism and magnetic effects of current.
In chemistry - You don't need anything. You need to just memorize whatever notes you get from college.
Hi Aspirant,
The cutoff varies every year and some factors are responsible for this variation like no. Of applications, highest marks scored, no. of seats. The trade of a particular course depends upon the cutoff for that trade in case you want to ask about CSE. Yes, CSE is there in SRM Kattankulathur and your rank should be within 5-6k for CSE.

Hello Revanth,
SRM Ramapuram Campus is decent but not better than SRM Main Campus or SRM Chennai Campus. According to previous year's cut-offs you must get SRMJEEE Rank below 10,000 to get B.Tech Computer Science Engineering branch in SRM Chennai Campus. To get B.Tech Computer Science Engineering in SRM Ramapuram Campus you must get Rank below 60,000 as per previous year's cut-off information. But Cutoffs varies from year to year and depends on many factors.
To know more information about SRM Cutoffs go through below link.

I hope this helps.
Thank you!!
Dear Aspirant,
there are many aspects that make the SRM campuses excellent for teaching and placements. If you would like to know the campus best for its engineering program and faculty, then the Chennai campus is highly recommended. The board of faculty is said to be the best at the Chennai campus. However, with respect to placements and recruitment, it is said that the campus at Kattankulathur is the best.
Hi Aryan!
With 30k rank there are no chances for you to get CSE or IT at VIT Vellore campus (as per the previous years records) but you can definitely get CSE or IT at VIT Chennai. If you are comfortable with CSE at VIT Chennai then go for it. Or if you feel like you will be scoring good marks in SRMJEEE and will be able to get CSE then write SRMJEEE. Other than this, you are not confident in SRMJEEE, then I would suggest you to attend VIT counselling, get admission and after that if you get good marks in SRMJEEE and get your desired seat then you can leave the VIT. Do not forget to chcek the fee refund policy of VIT.
Thankyou!
