Cardiovascular Technology course is a Post –graduate programme designed to train technologist interested in working with vital team members with core knowledge in clinical cardiovascular medicine and physiology who assist cardiologists during invasive and noninvasive cardiovascular procedures such as stress testing, electrocardiography, Holter recording, pacemaker analysis, vascular diagnostic studies, echocardiography, cardiac catheterization, heart failure therapeutic support, rhythm management support, electrophysiological studies, preventive cardiology and cardiac rehabilitation.
The programme is designed to meet the need for a post graduate qualification in M.Sc Cardiovascular Technology. It is characterized by its focussed approach, stressing the importance of evidence based practice in ensuring high standards of Cardiovascular Technology. The Cardiovascular technology is delivered by a team of leading-edge academics and national/international leaders in cardiovascular health, including cardiologists, nurses, physiotherapists, excessive scientist, dieticians, nutritionists, surgeon & public health specialists.
