Master of Technology in Food Engineering and Technology is two years (4 Semester) full-time postgraduate engineering program offered by Tezpur University, Tezpur with the approval of AICTE.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidate should have passed in B.E. /B. Tech. in Food Engineering and Technology/ Food Process Engineering/ Food Technology/ Agricultural Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering/ Chemical Engineering / Biotechnology/Dairy Engineering /Dairy Technology or food-related fields with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate. (Note: The B. Tech./ B.E. programme completed by the candidate should satisfy the AICTE requirements).

Admission Details

Candidates applying for M.Tech. Programmes may seek admission either based on valid GATE score on GATE category or based on the performance in the University entrance examinations.

College Infrastructure

Tezpur University campus is spread over 262 acres with modern shaped designated department buildings. The departments are fully equipped with required laboratory facilities. The university also has central library, sophisticated analytical instrument centre.

College Infrastructure

Infrastructure and facilities in our area are good. Wi-Fi, lab equipment, classroom infrastructure and a library—all kinds of facilities in our college are of good quality. The food available in our hostel mess and canteen is really good. Other activities, like sports and games, are also encouraged in our college .
