The Biomedical Engineering program is introduced in collaboration with the University of Toledo, the USA from the academic year 2019-20. This unique program is designed to give students an international experience, prepare them for professional careers, and expose them to state of the art facilities and cutting-edge research in the fields of biomedical engineering. The program accentuation on engineering and entrepreneurship designed for students planning to move straightforwardly into the industry/research organization after completing the program. The primary focus of the program is on the development of medical devices and its functional application in the creation of new and novel healthcare devices.

Eligibility Criteria

BE/BTech programmes:

To be eligible for admission to BE/BTech programme, the candidate

i. has passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST candidates) in aggregate of three subjects, namely, Physics, Mathematics and any one subject out of Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology and Technical Vocational subject*.

ii. has appeared in JEE Main – 2026.

iii. possesses a good moral character.

iv. is a citizen of India.

v. has passed 10+2 examination in 2024, 2025 or appearing in 2026.

Admission Details

Admission to BE/BTech programs shall be made on the basis of prescribed criteria of JEE Main – 2026 and 10+2 PCM. Applicants are required to fill application form one time only and on the basis of single application form, they can seek admission through any mode, as per the details hereunder:

On the basis of merit of JEE Main – 2026

For programmes mentioned at Sr. No. 1-9 in table – I, admission shall be done on the basis of merit of All India Rank (AIR) of JEE Main – 2026.

On the basis of merit of JEE Main – 2026/ 10+2 PCM*

For programmes mentioned at Sr. No. 10-16 in table – I, admission shall be done on the basis following two modes

i. On the basis of merit of All India Rank (AIR) of JEE Main – 2026.

ii. On the basis of merit of marks secured in 10+2 or equivalent examination in aggregate of three subjects, namely, Physics, Mathematics and any one subject out of Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology and Technical Vocational subject.

On the basis of merit of JEE Main – 2026/ NEET – 2026/ 10+2 PCM*/ 10+2 PCB

For programmes mentioned at Sr. No. 17-18 in table – I, admission shall be done on the basis following four modes:

i. On the basis of All India Rank (AIR) of JEE Main – 2026.

ii. On the basis of All India Rank (AIR) of NEET – 2026.

iii. On the basis of merit of marks secured in 10+2 or equivalent examination in aggregate of three subjects, namely, Physics, Chemistry and, Biology

iv. On the basis of merit of marks secured in 10+2 or equivalent examination in aggregate of three subjects, namely, Physics, Mathematics and any one subject out of Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology and Technical Vocational subject.

iv. Along with the admission during the counselling (Online/Offline), Institute may also offer the direct admission to following BE/BTech programmes subject to fulfilling of eligibilit criteria mentioned in 1.2.
