The admission to programmes is made via CAP (Centralised Admission Process) to make the application process accessible to candidates who are far from the university and unable to travel to the campus. The Calicut University PG admission process is done through the PGCAP (Centralised Admission Process). First, the candidates need to submit an application in online mode. The principal or the head of the institution will verify the eligibility and provide the admissions.

Calicut University releases its allotment list in multiple phases, including trial, first, and supplementary allotments. For instance, the first and second allotments for UG courses were released in June 2024, followed by supplementary rounds in July. Admission for UG programs generally closes by late August.

The Calicut University releases the seat allotment list in multiple phases. The Calicut University allotment list is released separately for different category of students. The Calicut University trial allotment list 2024 was released on June 13. Whereas, the first and second allotment of Calicut University was released on June 21 and 27 respectively. Candidates will be able to check Calicut University third allotment 2024 on July 5. There will be two additional supplementary allotment on July 22 and 27. The University of Calicut will close the Calicut University 2024 admission for UG courses on August 24.
