While calculating the best four percentage, One language- English/ Hindi is necessary to take into account. So, you have to calculate accordingly. Also, choose the other three subjects according to the the course's eligibility you want to pursue. Check in the cut off list with you best four

To get admission in Bsc. in any subject the following subjects are considered in best four-

• One language- English/ Hindi
  
• Physics
  
• Chemistry
  
• Biology/ Mathematics ( it depends on the course you are getting admission to)
  

So, it is required that one language should be there and no admission

All the elective subjects for du are mentioned in list a and list b of ug information bulletin. As entrepreneurship is not mentioned in that list it is not considered an elective subject. Inclusion of same in your best of 4 calculations will lead to deduction of 2.5%.

While filling up application form, Delhi University doesn't provide any option of providing Biotechnology marks separately. As you had Biotech as  a subject in class 12, you can fill uo the aforesaid subject marks in the place of Biology. For evaluating marks, biotech is calculated same as Bio.

For ba hons political science the eligibility criteria requires 55% marks in English or any other language. And inclusion of 3 other subjects from list b. One of these subjects need to be political science otherwise you will face deduction of 1%.

The best four percentage includes One language- English/Hindi and other three subjets. So, English is a compulsory subject however you can add sanskrit in best four if you want to pursue Sanskrit Hons. Also, you can add it while taking admissions in other courses, where it is not
