The infrastructure for M.Sc. Botany is good with proper labs, a useful library and green surroundings. The department has the basic facilities needed for practical work, though some equipment could be updated.
The academics in M.Sc. Botany are good and the course gives a nice mix of theory and practical learning. Most teachers are supportive and classes help build a strong understanding of the field and actual line of work.
The placement opportunities for M.Sc. Botany at lucknow university is average. Some students get jobs through campus support, while many choose research or higher studies. Overall, the guidance provided is helpful.
Yes value for money
Mixed crowd
The infrastructure of the college isn't quite upto the mark as per the rest of the state universities but it isn't bad either. The college has all required laboratories and instruments required for students
The academics section of the college is filled with traditioal methods and techniques with a hint of modern concepts and approach. Professors are experienced and are always there to help student out. So yes the academic is overall decent.
The placement facility of the college is not great as most of the students have to look for off campus placement drives. The placement cell isn't that effective either but alumni circle is truly helpful for placement offers.
Overall worth the value.
Mixed crowd.
The infrastructure of the institute is okyaish , not way too lavish or way too old fashioned. The equipment are always there for students to use. The faculty is always there to provide you with any research material and Administration is amazing.
The academic structure of the college was a bit old fashioned and not up to dates which leads to many of students to learn the skills irrelevant to the actual line of work. But the teacher's are helpful enough to make up for it.
Not many students get placed but every students get good placement offers like around 7-12 lpa from private universities. The package range may vary as per the different batches get different placement offers. Like most of our seniors didn't get placed.
Yes it is worth the price.
Okayish campus life.
Decent Average infrastructure , Lacking in some Aspects depends on the department and course, Most basic facilities that are expected from a public college are there but not everything is well maintained
Professors are well experienced and good , the quality of teaching is pretty good , however many updates to the currculum can be made, Studying economics and ancient Indian history at graduation level the professors are good
Can't say about placements as was not pursuing a professional degree but have heard that the professional degree have pretty average placements Most placements come from either the engineering or management department they are pretty average as compared to more elite specialised colleges
The education is highly subsidised , students have to pay minimal fees , or sometimes no fees under the goverment scholarship program students who require for financial aid etc .
Pretty decent campus life again plethora of societies and clubs are present in the campus there is always some or other event being organised by some club of society .
If a student wants a basic degree at minimal cost with decent teaching this institution is recommended for them
Yes my college have all necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. Smart board and wifi are present in whole campus and they all used as well maintained. Hostel are clean and food are hygienic.
I am purchasing btech computer science and engineering because of career scope and interest and teaching quality is very good.i am very satisfying for my course and enjoy it very well.private sector have very good opportunities for job.
There is some good placement for specific course like CSE and CSEI. Maximum 40 percent students were last year, and highest salary package was 3.32 lakh in CSE . Process is easy and college are very supportive for this.
My course fees is 120000 in first year.i personally feel it is very worth for me because of teaching quality and facilities is very good and teacher is very supportive , they always try to provide help .
College campus is good all necessary feature are present like ground, conference room ,girl common room and medical room but College canteen are not good.some seniors , departmental teachers and staff are supportive. My college location is Jankipuram and it is safe.
The infrastructure is one of the weakest aspects of the college. Classrooms are in poor condition, with no air conditioning or coolers—only fans. During summers, attending lectures can become quite uncomfortable. Power and lighting issues are also common. Considering that this is a Central University and a government institution, students naturally expect much better facilities and maintenance.
The academics are average at best. The syllabus feels outdated and lacks practical exposure. For BBA students, only a General BBA program is offered, with very little focus on industry-oriented skills, live projects, internships, case studies, certifications, or practical business knowledge. In today's job market, practical skills matter as much as theoretical knowledge, but that aspect is largely neglected here. Students coming from reputed schools such as CMS, DPS, GD Goenka, La Martiniere, and similar institutions may find the academic environment below their expectations. The college should seriously focus on updating the curriculum and incorporating skill-based learning.
The placement cell is perhaps the most disappointing part of the college. It appears largely inactive, and students expecting strong placement opportunities, industry connections, career guidance, or regular recruitment drives may be disappointed. There is significant room for improvement in this area.
The fee structure is not exceptionally high, but it is also not low enough to justify the facilities and opportunities provided. When compared with some private colleges charging similar fees, students may expect better infrastructure, practical learning opportunities, and placement support. Therefore, I would not consider it particularly good value for money.
Campus life is quite limited. The number of events, workshops, seminars, competitions, and extracurricular activities is very low. Students looking for an active and engaging college experience may feel disappointed. One positive point is that attendance is generally not a major issue. However, in my case, this became a disadvantage because I genuinely wanted to study and attend classes. Due to low student attendance, classes were often cancelled, which affected my learning experience. This may vary from student to student, but regular academic engagement should be improved.
I personally found it difficult to build a strong friend circle and connect with like-minded students. The campus atmosphere does not always feel very motivating or growth-oriented. This college may be suitable for students who simply want to obtain a degree from a Central University. However, students looking for excellent infrastructure, strong placements, practical learning, skill development, and an active campus life may find the experience below expectations.
Good but expensive The university is known for its experienced faculty members, well-structured curriculum, and vibrant campus life. Students get opportunities to participate in various cultural, sports, and academic activities, which contribute to their overall personality development. The campus provides a good learning environment with libraries, laboratories, and other essential facilities. One of the major strengths of Lucknow University is its affordable fee structure, making quality higher education accessible to students from different backgrounds. The university also maintains collaborations with various institutions and organizations to support research and career development. However, like many large public universities, students sometimes face administrative delays and infrastructure challenges. Despite these issues, the university continues to attract thousands of students every year because of its reputation, academic standards, and historical significance. Overall, Lucknow University is an excellent choice for students seeking quality education, diverse academic opportunities, and a rich campus experience at an affordable cost.
Good Academics is good in some cases but worst in some cases they only my course is bad in academics they work like redtape every things delay and un professonal only they care for comfort snd class
No placement its only says that that they have good plscement but tere is no any good placment only lie to students mba opper only 3,4 l placment very bad to persue mba fro. Thid college if u eish u can but i wold not recomend it
Not my course my course was b.com hons so and that was too expensiv and there is no classes only you have to pay fees and thqy font offer placement too thats why this is worst in case of value for money
Very good campus life is way good to students full of joy sports very postive environment and better place to chill and study there are mantmy places where you can have to vis for better experience yess
Lucknow University is a highly respected institution known for its rich history, quality education, and experienced faculty. Established in 1921, it has played an important role in shaping the careers of thousands of students across India. The university offers a wide variety of courses in arts, science, commerce, law, management, and many other fields. One of the best aspects of Lucknow University is its affordable fee structure, which makes higher education accessible
Nicole infrastructure is very big that is lots of within college in it and teachers different varieties of subject we have a huge classroom with used faculty given around have been digital benches then smart board which is present .
Academy pictures of thought that is very great they have given lot of information in up going my PHD and I have learnt a lot of things in this quality of teaching is very good the curriculum is Great
Replacement rate is very good as it is a huge college in Uttar Pradesh it gives a lot of other way to generate income replacement criteria is fair in a with an average pack of 7 to 8 lacs and help us to further study also
The college infrastructure is average and provides only basic facilities. Classrooms are simple with fans available, but there is no AC. Many benches and seats are often broken, and replacements rarely arrive, which reflects poor maintenance and management. The canteen offers basic food items, but the food quality is average. It is an open canteen without a proper covered seating area. Drinking water facilities also need improvement, as most students prefer carrying their own water bottles or buying packaged water from the canteen because they are unsure about the cleanliness and maintenance of the water supply. Most teachers are helpful, supportive, and willing to guide students, although there are a few exceptions, which is common in most colleges. Overall, the infrastructure is just okay and functional, but it requires significant improvement in terms of maintenance, facilities, and management.

Nope
The university holds a strong academic experience of over 100 years. Provides every basic necessity with a decent faculty. Facilitates us with library and water and food available in the campus with park.
Infrastructure is somewhat low in terms of the classrooms but overall it’s quite decent to be a university. Yes, also they provide space such as playground and sitting areas and hostel facility as well
I’m pursuing BA as a degree. The quality of faculty and their teaching is quite good. It overall builds a students academic as well as personality structure. No, my course doesn’t makes me job ready which i regret sometimes;(
The placement is actually something i didn’t like about my university. It offers very low packages even to MBA students (around 1.5 - 2L per annum). The avg placement of MBA students last year was 1.7L per annum
My course costed me 7k per year. Yes the money was worth it for my degree also i got 100% scholarship which was a key benefit here :) it also depends what course are you pursuing with which subject but overall the fee structure is okay
Campus offers a wide variety of courses to its students but at the same time provides very less seats for addmission with a high cut off every passing year. Yes, the location is quites good it’s almost in the centre of the city with all basic necessities available nearby
