Academics

Academics at Lucknow University were good. The faculty was very helpful and cooperative. The professor under whom I was pursuing, my PhD helped me through the process. The schedule also at Lucknow University is not hectic and is student friendly.

College Infra

The college infrastructure of Lucknow University was quite remarkable, and it was highly popular in the entirety of Uttar Pradesh. The famous Tagore Library had all the necessary books and material for someone pursuing PhD or any other course.

Campus Life

Spending your four years of college at Lucknow University is one of the best things you can do because of its campus life. They have huge grounds for sports like cricket, football, and much more. Students even used to participate in election campaigns and they used to be multiple cultural events happening around the campus. The students, teachers and support staff are also very good at LU. The location of the college is also a very prime location in Lucknow. The college was also equipped to handle emergencies.

Placements

The placement at Lucknow University are subjective to the course that you’re pursuing. The average package is about 4LPA. A good number of students get placed who are looking for jobs right after college while majority of them, pursue other paths. The professors at Lucknow University are very supportive towards whatever career choice you want to make as an individual and guide you through the process.

Value For Money

Studying at Lucknow University is very affordable and pocket friendly since it is a government college. My fees was somewhere between ₹1000-₹2000 during that time. I feel that I am getting my money’s worth because I serve as the senior teacher of the humanities department in my school.

Lu is well known for its LLB cource in Lucknow and it has its own model united nations held each year which gives the students opportunities to enhance their debating skills and take part in extracurricular activities

College Infra

In my opinion The college infrastructure can be further improved and the quality the food as well but i an quit satisfied with whatever they are providing at the moment but it would be great if they give better facilities

Placements

Lu is good for litigation and judicial placement but not good for corporate but if you work hard and perform good in academics as well as do good internships it cann be beneficial for corporate as well

Academics

Academics at Lucknow University is exceptional for law and humanities. They now also offer professional courses such as engineering. I studied my MA in history from Lucknow University and gained the necessary knowledge required for the field. The curriculum is very properly curated and has all the recent development up-to-date.

College Infra

Canteen had hygienic food. Campus was spacious and environment friendly. The old campus consisted of heritage of the place while the new campus is very modern. Lucknow University has hostels for both girls and boys with proper accommodation and all necessary facilities.

Campus Life

The atmosphere of the campus and regular days was fine. During events, the whole campus was lit up and you could feel the excitement in the air. There is no dress code at Lucknow University. Teachers and support staff was very friendly and helpful whenever needed. The location of the university is also very safe for women.

Placements

Placements are a little limited for MA students. Since many students appear for civil services examinations. The average package for MA students is around 6LPA. The teachers do offer guidance, but the students prefer off campus employment opportunities.

Value For Money

MA in history costed me around 1000 per year at Lucknow University. The degree was value-for-money for me because I wanted to pursue higher education and so this much fees was very affordable for MA degree.
