Lucknow University Reviews on Infrastructure, Campus, Placement, Facilities & Faculty

1987 Lucknow University had a traditional campus it had Heritage buildings spacious classroom libraries were also there science laboratory also there hostels for facilities and big corridors and there were very much greenry

In Lucknow University 1987 I did BA course which offered strong academic foundation with experienced faculty, comprehensive curriculum in arts and humanities and regular lectures, library based learning and examinations were also very proctered and yes overall it was a very good college

At that time the formal campus placements for BA students at the University were very rare there is no record right now for the highest package and average salary but as far as I remember it was around 20 lakhs per annum and from CSE department and the average salary was 3 to 4 lakhs and no recruiting departments were maintained

No

This is where modern utility takes over. Housing departments like Engineering (FoET) and Law, the second campus is spacious, much greener, and features contemporary academic blocks, better-equipped computer labs, smart classrooms, and dedicated sports complexes (basketball, volleyball, and football grounds).

LU is widely considered a powerhouse for judiciary (PCS-J) and civil services aspirants due to its rigorous, comprehensive notes and academic environment. Newer technical courses like B.Tech and BCA are structurally sound but still evolving in terms of cutting-edge industry alignment.

The university’s central placement cell and individual departmental cells (like the engineering wing) work actively. The average package hovers around ₹7.5 to ₹8.5 LPA, with the highest packages for standout students (particularly in IT, Computer Science, or Management) touching ₹23 to ₹24 LPA.

Lucknow University has a spacious and green campus with decent classrooms, a well-stocked library, computer labs, sports facilities, and canteens. Some departments have modern infrastructure, while others could benefit from further upgrades.

The academics at Lucknow University are well-structured and supported by experienced faculty. The curriculum provides a strong theoretical foundation, and regular seminars, projects, and practical learning help students develop knowledge and skills.

Placement opportunities are good for professional courses like BBA and MBA. The placement cell conducts training and campus drives. Students with strong skills and internships have better chances of securing good job offers.

Lucknow University offers quality education at an affordable fee, making it a great value-for-money choice. Experienced faculty, a recognized degree, and various academic opportunities provide a good return on investment.

The campus is lively, green, and culturally rich. Students enjoy festivals, seminars, sports, and club activities. The friendly atmosphere and diverse student community make campus life enjoyable and memorable.

Lucknow University is a reputed public university offering quality education at an affordable cost. It has experienced faculty, a vibrant campus, decent infrastructure, and good academic exposure. Placement opportunities vary by course but improve with skills and internships. The university provides a balanced environment for academics, extracurricular activities, and personal growth, making it a good choice for students seeking value and a recognized degree.

I will rate my collage infrastructure 4 out of 5. The collage has most of the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment required for student to have a comfortable and productive learning experience. The campus is well maintained and clean and provide a positive environment . The classroom are spacious well ventilated and equipped with projectors and Smart boards that makes teaching more efficient and interactive The library is one of the strength of Collage . It has good collection of textbook Reference books, general magazine and digital resources to help student with academics competitive exams preparation and research work

Academics are also good the teaching staff are well trained, professional and good experienced . Our teachers help us even away form the class they help us to solve your doubts even after collage so we got the best teachers facility

Placements are minimum for the students the highest pac-agent collage student got was around 11LPA . And the students who have ability to get the good package they will got it very easily . Collage work hard to get the good company’s in collage campus for campus placement

Yeh if you talk about value for money so it was because here if you are spending 3 lakhs for a degree and got a package of around 8LPA so it was valu for money your are getting good package you invest 3 lakhs in 3 years and getting 8 lakhs in a year so yes it was good

Campus life of our collage is very boring form my 1st year there is no event held by my collage where we will enjoy our collage life our we can suggest someone to come in my collage because along with studies student also have to chill .

If we talk about overall things of my collage so it was totally worth it according to their fees if you are giving 3 lakhs of fee for 3 years of degree so you are not getting night party’s or DJ nights so if your aim was just to get a good package and settle your life collage is good teachers are also too good fees of this collage was not becoming warden on you or your family so it was good .

College Infrastructure Rating and minimum 200 characters description are mandatory . Lucknow University new campus Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4/5) Lucknow University New Campus has good infrastructure with spacious academic buildings, clean classrooms, well-equipped libraries, computer labs, Wi-Fi, sports facilities, and separate hostels for boys and girls. The campus is peaceful, green, and suitable for academic learning. Facilities such as a gym, healthcare services, cafeteria, and playgrounds are also available. While the infrastructure is modern and continues to improve, some facilities and maintenance still need enhancement compared to leading universities. Overall, the new campus provides a comfortable environment for study and extracurricular activities, making it a good choice for students seeking quality education with decent campus facilities.

I am pursuing a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering because I have a strong interest in machines, manufacturing, design, and problem-solving. The course offers a good balance of theoretical knowledge and practical learning through laboratory sessions, workshops, and projects. The faculty members are knowledgeable, experienced, and generally supportive. Most teachers explain concepts clearly and are willing to help students with academic doubts. The curriculum is relevant and helps build technical skills, although there is still scope for more industry exposure and practical training. Overall, the quality of teaching is good and provides a solid foundation for future career opportunities.

The placement opportunities at the university are satisfactory but can be improved further. The placement cell conducts training sessions, aptitude classes, mock interviews, and career guidance programs to prepare students for recruitment. Several reputed companies visit the campus, but the number of recruiters and placement opportunities varies by department. Students with good academic performance, technical skills, and internships have better chances of getting placed. Many students also choose higher studies or prepare for government examinations. Overall, the placement support is decent, but students should actively work on their skills to secure better job opportunities.

The university offers good value for money because the course fees are affordable compared to many other institutions, while the quality of education, campus facilities, and academic environment is satisfactory. Students have access to libraries, laboratories, sports facilities, and experienced faculty members at a reasonable cost. Scholarships and financial assistance are also available for eligible students, making higher education more accessible. Although placement opportunities can be improved, the overall learning experience and affordable fee structure make the university a worthwhile choice for students seeking quality education without a high financial burden.

Campus life at the university is enjoyable and provides a good balance between academics and extracurricular activities. The campus is spacious, green, and has a peaceful environment for learning. Various cultural festivals, technical events, sports competitions, seminars, and student club activities are organized throughout the year, giving students opportunities to develop their talents and interact with peers. The library, sports facilities, cafeteria, and common areas contribute to a comfortable student experience. Overall, campus life is vibrant, friendly, and helps students grow both personally and professionally.

The infra structure is pretty average just gets the job done , some aspects can be improved significantly , the washrooms , class room furnitures etc other than that it is pretty normal for a government college

Academics is also very average the quality of academics again depends on the choice of department , every department pretty decent faculty for the most part , however there is lack of good study material especially it is sorley lacking in english

As doing a non professional course , don't have first hand experience regarding the placements however looking at the management and engineering and law students of the university , would say the placements are pretty mediocre compared to top management and law colleges in the country

Talking about my college experience, it took me back to my LU days again. Infrastructure of the university embodies historic architecture alongside modern facilities like well-equiped labs, spacious classrooms and renowned Tagore library. Extensive amenities such as diverse indoor n outdoor sports complexes, separate hostels n health centre.

LU has been known for it's rich academic legacy, political influence and being the first public university in U.P to earn an A++ NAAC accreditation. LU is highly regarded for its pioneering programs and prominent alumni and is the first university in India to introduce degree courses in Political science, public administration and astronomy.

LU offers a decent placement scenario with average package depending on the course and the percentage earned by the students. Top well known recruiters include Deloitte, IBM, ONGC, Infosys, Amazon etc.

This university offers good value for money with affordable tuition fee compared to private universities or colleges.

LU portrays a vibrant campus life set in a lush green environment. Students enjoy academics n active extra curriculars together.

Infrastructure is good. Architecture is beautiful. very scenic and picturesque. Some buildings may be a bit old and need maintenance. But otherwise good experience. My building FMS was new and infrastructure was good.

It is good to have an MBA at such a prestigious university and that too without being too heavy on the pocket. Academics are decent. Syllabus needs to be updated a bit though. Rest ok. 5/5. Highly recommend.

Placements anywhere between 3 to 7 lakhs per annum. They have a minimum threshold under which they don’t offer placements. Rest the Placement team run by students works very hard. And internships too are provided by them.

You can’t get a professional degree at such a price. Scholarship programs are also available. Besides LUMBA has a prestigious history. 10/10 value for money if you want a degree from here!!! Must attend classes as attendance is strict.

Our college have all the facilities and equipment... But they can't maintain the same... Classrooms are very small in the new building... There are good laboratories along with good facilities as well All the computer labs have wifi ... Smart boards are there in auditoriums only And food spaces and washroom are very unhygienic

I have completed my second year of BTech. CSE -AI at University of Lucknow. Quality of teaching right is average... They take classes, provide notes, but won't actually deliver the lectures very accurately Curriculum here is updated and according to NEP ... But you still have to put your own efforts to become industry ready... You can't solely rely on professors here

Most of the on campus placement are basically in HCL tech...(2-3 LPA average) And if anyone gets placement at good company... It's totally upto their efforts and hard work Mostly... The students of CSE ECE and CSE -AI students get placed from B. Tech. And some of the students from BCA as well

The fees for btech CSE -AI here is 162000... And it very expensive compared to the placements and skills they offer

There is club activities... Which is highly engaging for students to perform... And it boost their confidence as well. Seniors and teachers are good and helpful... But only if you able to maintain the respect and boundaries. Location is safe... But still you have to stay aware of the creeps

University of Lucknow has enough infrastructure to support academic and extracurricular activities. The campus is green and spacious, creating a comfortable atmosphere. Certain facilities could be improved but overall it serves students effectively.

Students at lucknow university receive a satisfactory academic experience. The university offers diverse course and maintain a learning focused environment. Faculty support is available for students who actively participate in academic.

Placement opportunities are available but not a large scale. The university provides a platform for recruitment activities but generally need additional skills and preparation to secure good job offer.

For the amount students pay in fees the university offers a satisfactory overall experience. Academic, campus facilities and the reputation of the institution make it a cost effective choice for many students.

The university has a lively campus with enough opportunity for social and academic engagement. Culture event, seminar contribute to a well rounded students experience.

Placement opportunities could be better. Most students appreciate its affordability and educational quality.
