Eligibility Criteria

Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.

Admission Details

Each eligible candidate shall be required to appear and to qualify as a written test (JEE Main) conducted by the CBSE. However, this is not mandatory for foreign students.

College Infrastructure

Infrastructure of our college is good, well maintained. Being 2nd oldest engineering college of India, buildings are old but well maintain. Wi-Fi is across the whole campus, classroom is well maintained as well. Laboratories of our college is excellent all equipment's are there. Hostel facility is good. In our college two big sports ground, one basketball, one volleyball court. Mess food is also good in our hostels and canteen food is also good.

College Infrastructure

The 2nd most oldest college in india ,here you not only enjoy college life but get to relive the British era. With 2 large playgrounds a swimming pool various hostels to choose from library with almost all books and medical facilities this university isa city within itself.

College Infrastructure

If you comparing with neighbouring institutions (in west Bengal)you(IIEST)are better off or on par. But in comparison with national institutions there remain huge differences. But no doubt this is one off the best college in west Bengal.
