Acharya Institute Graduate Studies Bangalore is a self-financed college affiliated with Bengaluru City University. The college was established in 2005 and is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). AIGS College provides admission to both Indian citizens and International students/NRIs(Non-Resident Indians). In both cases, candidates can apply for admission through the official website of the college or by physically visiting the AIGS campus. Meeting the required eligibility criteria is mandatory; failing to do so will result in the application not being considered. Candidates are also advised to appear for and pass the required AIGS entrance examinations, such as KCET, University, or PGCET.

If vacant, AIGS seats will be allocated on the basis of marks obtained in the required education. AIGS campus is expanded over 4 acres where over 2,500 students from different corners of the world are actively pursuing their degrees. Moreover, the AIGS placement cell organises campus placement drive to help students meet their career goals. Separate hostels for boys and girls, a library, medical care, transportation, and a cafeteria are some of the AIGS facilities available to students.
