36 Months- Diploma in Mechanical engineering is a three year program focused to understand techniques of engineering from design to manufacturing to the marketplace for any object. It is the study of machinery, and how to manufacture and maintain it at all levels, product design using analytical tools and application of heat energy.
- This department in Silver Oak University carries out its mission to empower students with creative thinking skills to design an exciting product; analytical tools to achieve their design goals; the ability to overcome all constraints and the teamwork needed to produce innovative products using the well-equipped laboratories and innovative technical clubs like Baja SAE, Centre of excellence- Royal Enfield, student chapters like ISHARE and ASHRAE, participating in various innovative challenges of SMART INDIA HACKATHON and ASME, enhances students' knowledge in production technology by using 3D printer, welding simulator, CNC and VMC.
- Students have an enormous range of opportunities and their education can mirror in various fields like automobile industry, cement industry, steel, power sector, hydraulics, manufacturing plants, drilling and mining industry, petroleum, aeronautical, biotechnology and also can start entrepreneurial ventures or can pursue higher studies.
Eligibility Criteria
Passed 10th Std./ SSC examination. Obtained at least 35% marks in the qualifying examination.
