Aiman College, Tiruchirappalli, set up in 2000 is a Women’s Institution in Tamil Nadu providing quality education to women of the higher learning. Situated in K. Sathanur, Tiruchirappalli this is an affiliated college that occupies 6.018 acres of land. The institution has a total of 1200 students and 12 faculty members; the institution from 8 degree programs in total of 12 courses. Sexism is well eliminated in this college through having the college dedicated to making women become stronger academically by offering education to ladies only.

The college owns a lot of facilities aimed at improving the student experience. A well organized modern library is a knowledge hub that provides not only a vast stock of literature of different subjects. The learning resources include modem computer laboratory, microprocessor laboratory and specialized laboratories for chemistry, food science and apparel and fashion technology. To facilitate maximum number of students, college has arranged transport facilities with 11 buses which are provided for different places in Tiruchirappalli. It also boasts of a large assembled auditorium which has a seating capacity of one thousand; the auditorium is very useful in accommodating college events/programs/activities, poetry, plays among others to be staged by the students. Fresher students are entertaining a clean cafeteria where they can get their dietary needs met, while a well-maintained girls’ hostel provides accommodation for the students together with enhanced security and well fractioned meals.

Currently, Aiman College provides almost all the undergraduate and postgraduate programs necessary for students’ various academic needs. A total of 12 programmes are delivered at the centre: eleven full-time undergraduate and postgraduate programmes and one diploma programme. Currently, the undergraduates offered by the institute include B.Sc.in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics Nutrition and Dietetics, Apparel and Fashion Technology,BCA, B.Com, BA in English and BBA. For postgraduate, the college offers; MA in English, M.Sc in computer Science and M.Com. All these programs are aimed to give students the necessary knowledge and skills needed in todays working profession.
