Average college with average faculty and services

      College Infrastructure

The infrastructure is modern and visually impressive. The college has invested a lot in sustainable infrastructure, so you’ll see solar panels on roofs and rainwater harvesting setups everywhere. The labs are up-to-date with industry-standard software, which is a major plus point for practical learning. The library portal allows you to access thousands of e-journals from your hostel room, which was incredibly useful during my final year project. However, the elevator situation in the multi-story academic blocks is terrible. There are only two lifts for a five-story building packed with hundreds of students, meaning you almost always end up taking the stairs if you want to be on time for a lecture.

      Academics

Living in the campus hostel gives you a very clear picture of the infrastructure. The new hostel blocks are excellent, almost like budget hotels with attached bathrooms and regular cleaning services. However, if you get assigned to the older blocks, the rooms are damp and the electrical sockets are poorly placed. The academic infrastructure is universally good, though. Every classroom has a projector, and the ventilation is decent even during hot summers.

      Placements

For a tier-2 college, the placement performance is commendable. They manage to attract some legacy recruiters year after year, which provides a safety net for a majority of the batch. The average package is steady at around 6 LPA. The placement process is quite democratic, but it gets stressful if you don't clear the initial rounds. Watching your friends get placed while you keep attending morning PPT presentations is mentally draining. The coordinators do offer counseling and feedback sessions for students who get stuck, which is a nice touch. I wish they would invite more core design firms rather than just IT consulting roles, but given the market demand, it's understandable why things are skewed toward software and sales.

Very good college but don't expect much in placement

      College Infrastructure

The campus infrastructure is pretty solid overall. The entire campus is pedestrian-friendly, with neat walkways and plenty of trees providing shade. The seminar halls and main auditorium are top-notch, featuring excellent acoustics and comfortable seating. My main issue is with the daily maintenance. While the main administrative buildings are kept spotless, the student washrooms in the academic blocks often lack basic hygiene items like hand soap or working flushes by the afternoon. The cafeteria options are great, though; we have a main mess and three smaller private food courts that serve everything from South Indian breakfast to fast food at reasonable prices. The medical center is open 24/7, which provides peace of mind, especially for hostel students.

      Academics

We have a proper football turf, a well-maintained cricket ground, and synthetic basketball courts that are lit up at night. The gym is decent, though it gets incredibly crowded during the evening hours. Moving on to the academic infrastructure, the labs are generally well-equipped with modern apparatus, and we rarely had to share instruments during experiments. The main issue is the hostel infrastructure. The rooms are quite small for double sharing, and the common bathrooms can be a nightmare during the monsoons due to drainage issues. The hostel mess is spacious, but the food quality is exactly what you’d expect from an institutional kitchen—bland and repetitive.

      Placements

I managed to land a role at an automotive firm with a package of 5.5 LPA. It's not groundbreaking, but it’s a solid start. The training sessions conducted before the placement season were a bit hit-or-miss. Some guest lecturers were amazing, while others just read off PPTs. My advice to anyone joining is to start working on your portfolio from the third year itself. Don’t wait for the placement season to magically fix everything. Don't get too excited but it's a nice college.

      Value for Money

      Very good.

      Good college nice placement

      College Infrastructure

If you are in the IT or CS track, you don't need to worry much about placements here. Companies visit in abundance. However, if you belong to mechanical or civil, the story is quite different. I’m a mechanical student, and honestly, it felt a bit disheartening to see 80% of the companies being software-centric. That being said, the placement coordinators did manage to bring in three or four core manufacturing firms toward the end of the season. I managed to land a role at an automotive firm with a package of 5.5 LPA. It's not groundbreaking, but it’s a solid start. The training sessions conducted before the placement season were a bit hit-or-miss.

      Academics

At first, we all complained about the extra classes, but looking back, those aptitude drills were the reason I cleared the first round of three different companies. Major banking and consulting firms come to our campus regularly. The packages range anywhere from 4 LPA to 12 LPA for finance profiles. The interview panels can be intimidating, but the familiar campus environment helps calm the nerves. One thing that annoyed me was the college's "one student, one job" policy. Once you get an offer above a certain threshold, you aren't allowed to sit for other companies, even if it's your dream profile.

      Placements

The placement season is incredibly intense; the campus turns into this high-stress zone for two months. What I appreciated was the transparency of the process. Everything is managed through an online portal where shortlists and schedules are updated in real-time. The average package was decent, around 7 LPA, which justifies the ROI to an extent. However, the placement cell can feel a bit elitist at times, focusing more energy on the top 10% of the batch while leaving the rest to figure things out. If you are an average student academically, you will need to push yourself extra hard outside of the classroom to stand out.

It is an okay college not very good

      College Infrastructure

The infrastructure here looks amazing in the brochures, and to be fair, the outer campus is beautiful with lots of greenery and modern architecture. The library is easily the best part of the college—it’s a massive three-story building, fully air-conditioned, with plenty of quiet study cubicles and a great collection of both academic and fiction books. However, the experience varies once you get to the actual classrooms. While the new management block has state-of-the-art smart boards and comfortable seating, some of the older engineering blocks still have creaky wooden desks and fans that make way too much noise. The Wi-Fi is another pain point; it works flawlessly in the labs but completely dies out in the common corridors and lawns. It's a mix of world-class facilities and old-school maintenance issues.

      Academics

The gym is decent, though it gets incredibly crowded during the evening hours. Moving on to the academic infrastructure, the labs are generally well-equipped with modern apparatus, and we rarely had to share instruments during experiments. The main issue is the hostel infrastructure. The rooms are quite small for double sharing, and the common bathrooms can be a nightmare during the monsoons due to drainage issues. The hostel mess is spacious, but the food quality is exactly what you’d expect from an institutional kitchen—bland and repetitive.

      Placements

The annual cultural fest is the absolute highlight of the year; the entire campus is decorated, classes are suspended for three days, and we get to see major artists perform live. The daily rhythm is quite relaxed, though the 75% attendance rule is strictly enforced, which dampens the fun a bit. Evenings are the best time, as everyone gathers at the central lawn or the Nescafe kiosk to chat, play guitar, or just unwind after a long day of lectures.

Accha college hai kharab nahi hai

      Verified Review
      College Infrastructure

Main abhi MCom kar raha hoon Allahabad Degree College se, aur infrastructure ka overall experience theek hi laga mujhe. Classrooms ka condition clean hota hai, benches comfortable type hote hain but kabhi-kabhi fan slow chal jata hai ya light fluctuation ho jata hai. Library hamare liye bahut useful hoti hai because MCom me research-type readings hote hain, toh waha ka quiet environment help karta hai. Books ka collection bhi decent hai, especially commerce aur finance related. WiFi poore campus me strong nahi hoti, sirf kuch areas me hi sahi se pakadti hai. Canteen average feel deta hai, zyada fancy nahi hai but clean lagta hai. Overall maintenance theek-thaak hai, koi major problem mujhe nahi face hui.

      Academics

MCom ka academics mujhe honestly strong laga ADC me. Teachers ka knowledge depth me hota hai, especially accounting aur finance wale faculty. Kabhi kabhi lecture thoda theoretical ho jata hai but overall samjhate sahi se hain. Kuch teachers modern examples bhi use kar lete hain jisse concept clear hota hai. Syllabus university ke through updated aata hai, toh subjects jaise management accounting, financial analysis, research methodology wagaira kaafi relevant lagte hain. Teaching pattern disciplined hai, attendance ka bhi dhyan rakhte lage mujhe. Exam time thoda pressure hota hai but agar semester bhar notes maintain karo toh manageable rehta hai. Mere hisaab se academics MCom ke liye worth it hai.

      Placements

MCom ke placements honestly bahut strong nahi hain. PG students ke liye specially commerce field me college me zyada companies visit nahi karti. Kaafi log higher studies, UGC NET, PhD ya competitive exams prefer karte hain. Kuch small firms aur local organisations internship type opportunities dete hain but full-time package very high nahi hota. Average salary 2–3 LPA ke aas-paas hoti hogi. Placement cell try karta hai students guide karne me, lekin better exposure ki need definitely hai. Agar student khud skills develop kare — jaise tally, excel, research, communication — toh chances thoda better ho jate hain.

      Value for Money

ADC ka MCom ka fee structure kaafi affordable hai. Private PG colleges ke comparison me yaha ka fee bohot kam lagta hai, jisse middle-class students ke liye burden nahi hota. Academics jitna milta hai us hisaab se paisa sahi utilize hota hai. Haan, agar internship support aur placements thoda strong hota toh value aur increase ho jati. But overall, pocket-friendly aur worth lagta hai.

      Campus Life

Campus life simple aur peaceful hai. MCom me hum log zyada lecture aur library time spend karte hain, toh calm environment kaafi help karta hai. Students friendly hote hain, koi toxic ya unsafe feel nahi hota yahaan. Teachers polite aur cooperative rehte hain, staff bhi supportive. Events hote toh hain, but PG students normally kam participate karte because workload thoda heavy rehta hai. Location city area me hai toh travelling ya food arrangement easy ho jata hai. Overall campus safe and disciplined type ka lagta hai.

Overall experience is good not poor nor good

      College Infrastructure

Mera experience Allahabad Degree College ke infrastructure ke saath overall thik hi raha. Classrooms me benches aur fans ache condition me hote hain, kabhi kabhi fan slow chal jata hai but manage ho jata hai. College ka campus bada hai aur green bhi lagta hai, jisse environment peaceful sa feel deta hai. Library hamare yaha ka sabse strong part hai, books kaafi variety me mil jati hain aur sitting area bhi clean rehta hai. WiFi ka facility puri campus me nahi hai, bas kuch hi areas me catch hota hai, but zyada students internet apne phone se hi use karte hain. Laboratories mainly science walo ke liye maintained hai, commerce walo ka zyada use nahi hota. Canteen thoda average type ka hai, clean hota hai but food options limited hote hain. Overall maintenance theek hai, koi bada issue mujhe nahi laga.

      Academics

Main yaha BCom kar raha hoon aur academics ka experience honest bolu toh decent hai. Teachers ka behaviour supportive hota hai, aur jab doubt hota hai toh explain bhi karte hain lekin har teacher equally interactive nahi hote. Kuch teachers bahut engaging hote hain, examples ke saath samjhate hain, lekin kuch bas book follow karke padha dete hain. Curriculum updated lagta hai, university wale time-to-time changes karte rehte hain. Jo subjects hum padhte hain woh commerce field ke according helpful hai, jaise accounts, economics, business studies etc. Exam time thoda pressure hota hai but agar classes regular attend karo toh manageable ho jata hai. Overall academics ne mujhe personally kaafi improve kiya, bas lecture delivery thoda aur modern ho sakti thi.

      Placements

Placement ko leke bolu toh Allahabad Degree College me bahut top level placements nahi hote. Commerce students ke liye companies kam aati hain, mostly local organisations aur कुछ small firms visit karti hain. Placement percentage jyada high nahi hai, isliye zyada students higher studies prefer karte hain – jaise MBA, MCom, competitive exams wagaira. Average salary bhi low to moderate hi hoti hogi, around 2–3 LPA ke around. College placement cell efforts karta hai lekin still improvements ki need hai, specially internships ke mamle me. Agar kisi student ka extra skill ho, jaise computer, tally, communication, toh uska chance badh jata hai. Personally mujhe lagta hai placement “okay-okay” type hai, zyada expectations nahi rakhna chahiye.

      Value for Money

Fees structure ADC ka sach bolu toh kaafi reasonable lagta hai. BCom ki fees private colleges ke hisaab se kaafi kam rehti hai, isliye middle-class students ke liye kaafi sahi option hai. Puri saal ka expense manageable hota hai aur jitna paisa dete hain us hisaab se academics aur campus facilities theek experience mil jata hai. Kabhi kabhi lagta hai ki extracurricular aur placement ke taraf thoda aur focus hota toh aur better value milti, but overall mujhe waste of money nahi laga. Affordable hai aur degree milti hai sahi way me.

      Campus Life

Campus life ADC ka decent aur simple type ka hai. Yaha environment peaceful rehta hai, koi unnecessary disturbance ya unsafe feeling nahi lagti. Students friendly nature ke hote hain aur seniors kabhi bully nahi karte, at least mere batch me aisa kuch nahi hua. Cultural activities, debate events, NCC-NSS wagaira chalte rehte hain lekin frequency thodi kam hoti hai. Teachers ka attitude polite hota hai and staff bhi helpful rehta hai. Campus ka location sahi jagah par hai, city ke andar hi sab accessible mil jata hai. Emergency situations me staff attentive rehte hain. Overall campus life calm and disciplined type ka laga mujhe.
